You could just bump an old thread rather than start a new thread, for those that want to follow your blog they can subscribe to it, or just look out for the bumps. To be honest I don't see any harm in a new thread, the Walsh blog gets a new post for every new entry, and people start lots of pointless threads.

I've read your blog several times and never commented on it once, generally its a good read...this one however i didn't like....maybe i had a bad day or maybe it was just a poor effort!...no offence.
