Early season ticket renewal

The club are such c***s, my Uni said I couldn't get the proof of full time education letter until i re-enrolled on the 1st of October so they made me pay over £200 from August until November before I could get the letter to give them and get my money back! Luckily my bank gave me a decent overdraft that covered it because I only work part time. This is an example of how the club take us as season ticket holders for granted, they don't give a shit about the fans

Hardly the club's fault that they want proof of your status. You got your money back didnt you? Give me one other example in life where you wouldn't be asked for proof?

I'll be renewing with me kids in the family - just wish they'd install some concourse heating for the kids as night matches and mid winter matches aren't much fun for them.

Did not feel like it the other night but yes I will be still renewing my season ticket. I shall be sixty in September so will get it a bit cheaper anyway.

Apart from city's usual form I would miss that lovely Saturday morning feeling when we are at home. Watch soccer am then meet up with the lads then down to the pub with all the other city fans. Then the walk down to the ground full of a mixture of five pints of Bank's and a good dose of high hopes. What else am i going to do with my Saturdays ?

Yeh this is how I feel. No matter how bad the team is I know I need to go to every home game for something to do. If I didn't go I'd just be listening to it on the radio getting pissed off with Stringer for giving me a heart attack anyway.

I worked with a cov St holder last year and his adult renewal was about £180, I know this possibly cos they are in the financial shit, but if a skint club can offer that then a reasonably affluent club like ours could and should offer so much more. Free shirt or even free programme would be nice.

Ever thought they are in financial shit cause they only charge £180.00 for a season ticket?

I'm praying the moaning gits on here genuinely don't renew, because I'd bet money that they're the same people who spend the whole game slagging off our players.

'I'm annoyed because if you collect 46 vouchers from the paper and it's your birthday and you get a sun special and you don't want to sit in the same seat every week then it works out £2 cheaper a season for these PAPs. It's a disgrace'

'I can't believe the owners are as rich as they are and yet still expect me to pay for a season ticket?! I mean they're happy to spend millions on players (and we still haven't signed Beckham or Edgar Fooking Davids may I add!) and yet they're not prepared to pay for me - I think someone needs to have a word with them about priorities. I don't care if some of the clubs around us are struggling desperately to survive financially, or avoid the crippling reality of relegation, I think our number one priority should be subsidising my ticket.'

'I can't believe the club had to actually see proof that I was entitled to a heavily discounted ticket!!! I mean for god's sake, whatever happened to the age old tradition of taking someone's word for it?'

'Gallagher'

Go on then, **** off!

It was reduced by about £150 to try and get some money in before the start of the new financial year

No I had a letter from the University stating that I had been enrolled there for the previous 2 years and I was studying on a 3 year course but the club said that didn't prove that I was actually going to attend this year and I had to wait until I could come back with proof I was before I could get my student season ticket....What am I gonna do, waste £1000's and then decide oh **** it I'm not gonna finish.

No, maybe not, but the club was allowing the world and his wife to claim student tickets until they asked for letters to prove it.
