muzzy1981 Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 Don't know if anyone agrees but I loved it when Pearson rung the changes against palace after a 5 game run with out a win. bringing in Tunch, Kennedy and Moore, who all did well. I know our form isn't as bad as then but it just showed taking a gamble on players with a point to prove can work. I really rate Pearson but a bit more risk taking in team selection would be good to see. On that basis I'd like to see something like the following play in our next League game. Kasper Pantsil Bamba Mills Konch Marshall Drinks Danns/Wellens Kennedy Nuge Beckford That's 3 new faces and Bamba back , not too drastic but fffffresh!
Guy Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 What's happened to Pantsil and Tunch - are they still at the club?? Also is "Bruno" Berner?
Darkon84 Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 What's happened to Pantsil and Tunch - are they still at the club?? Also is "Bruno" Berner? Pantsil has been at the African Cup of Nations, Tunchev hasn't been making the grade in training, and Bruno is currently taking his coaching badges (I think)
Jagdinho Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 What's happened to Pantsil and Tunch - are they still at the club?? Also is "Bruno" Berner? Been at Afcon and had malaria not long before that.
Nicobonibus Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 i wonderd why we havent used him that much
jonlcfc1990 Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 Yes i did enjoy the change and i think Moore and Kennedy could easily step in for the rest of the season. Only time will tell if they get a chance. On a side not i know NP is the big 4-4-2 fan but personally i think that the palace formation is not just the best formation to play away from home but is an all round strong formation for not only holding a lead but putting you on the front foot and i think Bamba really stood up and ran the defence and Mid in that game. HES A BEAST!
cc_star Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 Pantsil hasn't been great in his brief appearances, think Moore is a better bet & Pantsil should be listed Moore on the other hand did well away at Palace away as did Kennedy, although unfortunately for him Konch is probably best outfield player this season.
Jace Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 1-2 win against Palace I loved that game too especially when Claridge scored the winner in injury time
