JoeyB Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 why is it that there's always to much negativity on this forum, don't forget 2 games ago we had just won 3 games on the trot (in all comps), and now we have lost 2 games on the trot. from the start of February this season was pretty much a right off, Pearson is now trying to rebuild and balance the squad, if the people on here spent as much time and effort actually getting behind the team instead of moaning our home and away support would be incredible. yes i know we all pay alot of money and are entitled to our own opinions and with a poor performance fair enough people can moan, but how about supporting the club and players. this forum has really gone to the dogs in the past couple of years, to many moaners and grammar nazi's take away the enjoyment of it!

Tbh, the support at the ground has been good despite this shitty season but I think peeps were coming to terms that the season was practically over in the league, the negativity stems from this f**ked up season the players on the whole may be crap and not good enough for a promotion challenge but the thing that bugs me was the work ethic.

The reasons why there has been so much negativity IMO: - Expectation... Compared to pre season the performances of some players have been a disgrace (I don't use this term lightly, I believe it). Therefore, what we thought would happen, compared to what has happened have been miles apart. - Money spent.... Relative to this division, we have spent big money on two main players... Beckford and Mills who have both let us down big time . - Svens sacking.... This has split us down the middle. There are some still pining for him now so will look to criticise anything that has come since. - Wages.... When we hear that Mills is on 40k and Becks 30k per week it's difficult to justify, particularly during harsh economic times. - Results.... The win one, lose a few theme has proven massively frustrating. Just when we think we've turned the corner, we go and lose to Brizzle or Watford away. The one saving grace has been the FA cup.. And if, by some miracle we beat Chelski, the above will probably be forgotten....
JoeyB Posted 10 March 2012 Author Posted 10 March 2012 Your right, its our fatal flaw.. we should be dancing in the fooking streets... Well negativity is passed around, were all to quick to jump on the pearson out band wagon or who ever is playing crap and use them as scape goats, but if we spent as much effort actually getting behind the team and supporting them as we do moaning and berating them our support would be even better and the players would play even better!!

I will leave it to you to cheer the lads to the echo for todays effort..I don't think one single player has said we don't get behind the team..i help pay the players wages ..i pay my taxes for layabouts who won't work..my back is aching from carrying all the freeloaders...forgive me if i don't get an erection when we get stuffed by reading...we could of had 60,000 fans there today..leicester would still of lost...but your naivety is cute..
Corky Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Well put there Sir. General thing in society nowdays imo....moan moan moan...can never see positive or even have a laugh....think that's why everything is going part way to sh*t. Have you actually wondered why people moan on this forum? For some people they enjoy it, most of us don't want to complain. We want to come on here and praise the team on a good performance with prospects for a bright future. You will always get complainers but if we were doing better then that number would be significantly reduced.
ronnup Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Massively disaapointing season. I think some negativity is to be expected. Expectations were raised far too high.
He's not bald Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Sorry but you can't go on and on and on and on being positive, when your promised and expect so much from a season that has fallen flat on it's face, sure we play Chelski next week in the quarters but we don't have a "cat in hell's chance" realistically and even by some fluke (or more likely miracle) we get a result what will that actually mean, would have rather had the 3 points today Have never called Pearson and never will but where do we go from here? It's just not happening we still don't have a team that look anywhere near consistent enough to keep up with the best 10 in the championship let alone the top 6 or 2 How many seasons can we keep rebuilding?
