FrankieADZ Posted 12 March 2012 Posted 12 March 2012 In general we do need to pass the ball better and quicker, if players like Danns, Dyer, Wellens etc aren't up to the job then they need to be replaced. The players need to believe in the system and themselves. This is something that is not the case under Pearson yet, and it wasn't under Sven either, who despite splashing the cash, often set the team up with the aim of trying not to concede, instead of trying to score. I have to agree with you on that; seem to let the defending team get behind the ball far too quick sometimes on my norwich and saints comment, ive seen better team performance against us in recent times is what i meant.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 12 March 2012 Posted 12 March 2012 People saying Pearson out, why? We will not go up, it was a big job to do when he came and we wouldn't of dealt with it this season. Pearson will sort it out, look at Hull, fighting for a play off spot and have the best defensive record, just like Villas Boas situation, it takes longer than half a season to rebuild the side, I am sure we will be a different side next season when he gets rid of the deadwood. Even if we bring in another manager which people thing is the right idea all they will do is what Pearson has to do, stop whining, we are in the Quarter Final of the FA Cup, this season has been bad yes but have faith in Pearson! Money doesn't mean promotion just like most of our fans thought we would walk the league this season and I have to admit I thought we would of if I am honest, Pearson is the man, there is no point in changing again, I would of agreed to get rid of him if we were in or around the relegation zone just like Sousa was when he was sacked but we ain't, let's just make the most of this season and have faith in Pearson.
Happy Fox Posted 12 March 2012 Posted 12 March 2012 Do people making the playoffs next season would be good enough? not for the Thais it wouldn't we need automatic promotion, the playoffs are a lottery that we are banking the club's future on.

Of course not, automatic is where we should be next season and I have faith in Pearson.
Happy Fox Posted 12 March 2012 Posted 12 March 2012 It would be if we get promoted. This is negated by the first point. It would be preferential to go up automatically would it not? of course it is easier said than done but their aren't going to be many standout teams next season imo, we just need to sign the right players then we should be fine .If the worst comes to the worst and we do secure a playoff spot, there is no guarantee we will get promotion. Either way What is an absolute must is promotion next season .
wellyfox Posted 12 March 2012 Posted 12 March 2012 It won't matter where we finish but it will matter what division we are in the following season.
Jace Posted 12 March 2012 Posted 12 March 2012 I don't care where we come in the league next season the prospect of starting and finishing the season with the same manager is enough of an exciting milestone for the Club for me
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 12 March 2012 Posted 12 March 2012 Isn't it about time.......for these pointless threads being started
