chili_con_carne Posted 23 March 2012 Posted 23 March 2012 I reckon most of it is down to our full backs konchesky and peltier. they both lose position far too often and don't seem too good at concentration and marking. peltier probably more so than konchesky. Sven wanted attacking full backs with the formation we started the season with. But now with 4-4-2 I personally think we need a new left back and a new right back who are good at defending. we have Marshall and dyer who are our attacking wingers and we need good defensive cover behind them.

Although he had a good start, he's now starting to look very average and he's probably best at a lower championship side or a good league 1 team. I would actually play pantsil for the rest of the season because the season is over. Pearson needs to see if he's any good given a run of games before releasing him or whatever in the summer. Seriously how much is pantsil earning? I heard 25k a week.

Konchesky has been brilliant for us this season! Peltier is staying, he's signed a new deal when Pearson came

Konchesky is one of the main players to keep. Pretty cool under pressure, experienced and doesn't seem to be prone to injury since joining us. If people seriously are considering that he should be gotten rid of the forum has become more daft than ever. Peltier, on the right, has looked more shaky than Konch. However, I still maintain we don't defend well collectively. I wouldn't point the finger at individuals in this.
