OzFox Posted 5 April 2012 Posted 5 April 2012 On the up side, i think you are now a part owner of either King Power and therefore LCFC. (why arent we in the premier league?..OZfox out!) or your very own ladyboy. For $5.50 I should get both
unreachable Posted 5 April 2012 Author Posted 5 April 2012 I have been informed by fanzone@lcfc that information [publication of ownership under Regulation 94 of the Football League Regulations] "is under review as we speak but will be published in due course." Unlike ozleicester I have been successful in obtaining a Business Profile company search from the Singapore ACRA (Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority) http://www.acra.gov.sg/ which provides the following information about Asia Football Investments Pte. Ltd. : Company Name ASIA FOOTBALL INVESTMENTS PTE. LTD. Registration No. 201013260R Incorporation Date 23/06/2010 Registered Office Address 96 Robinson Road #16-04 SIF Building Singapore (068899) Issued Share Capital of 1000 Ordinary UK Pound Shares held as follows: 1 held by SUPORNTHIP CHOUNGRANGSEE and 999 held by K POWER SPORTS INVESTMENT LIMITED of 3rd Floor Omar Hodge Building, Wickhams Cay 1, Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands Officers of the Company AIYAWATT RAKSRIAKSORN Date of Appointment 06/08/2010 Nationality THAI Position Held DIRECTOR NARIT CHIA-APAR Date of Appointment 03/09/2010 Nationality THAI Position Held DIRECTOR SUPORNTHIP CHOUNGRANGSEE Date of Appointment 03/09/2010 Nationality THAI Position Held DIRECTOR HENG SIEW MEI Date of Appointment 08/11/2010 Nationality SINGAPORE P.R. Position Held DIRECTOR HENG SIEW MEI Date of Appointment 05/07/2010 Nationality SINGAPORE P.R. Position Held SECRETARY Obviously, the above information does not necessarily show up to date information but just information which has been lodged with the Singapore ACRA. Aiyawatt Raksriaksorn (known as Top) and Supornthip Choungrangsee are both directors of LCFC and known to us. I googled Narit Chia-Apir and found a reference to a person of that name being the chairman of Seafresh Industry Public Limited Company www.seafresh.com which is a Thai shrimp company. Whether that is the same person I don't know and whether he is still involved I don't kinow either but don't recall his name having been mentioned before. I also googled Heng Siew Mei and found a reference to a person of that name who was/is a tax analyst in Singapore with Portcullis Trustnet who may have been the financial adviser in setting up the company and may not have a financial interest in the company. Company searches for companies registered in the British Virgin Islands where K Power Sports Investment Limited is incorporated may not reveal much information since filing requirements are minimal. Names of shareholders and directors do not need to be lodged. More information at http://www.bvicompanysearches.com/ Make of it what you will.

It is not possible to make a company search for companies registered in the British Virgin Islands where K Power Sports Investment Limited is incorporated and there are minimal filing requirements and names of shareholders do not need to be lodged. Make of it what you will. That is quite interesting, certainly put the credibility into question imo.
unreachable Posted 5 April 2012 Author Posted 5 April 2012 I should add that we have previously been told that Aiyawatt Raksriaksorn is the ultimate owner of K Power Sports Investment Limited.
Libertine Dream Posted 5 April 2012 Posted 5 April 2012 There is nothing surprising there. We knew Top would be named, we knew K Power Sports Investment would own AFI, we knew a Singapore man would be a director, we knew that K power sports investment would be concealed by a country where details are impossible to come by. However its interesting to know that AFI was formed, 3 days before NP left for Hull. The other Thai guy owns a company that had a revenue of 70 million last year which grew by 50 percent on the previous year.
Libertine Dream Posted 5 April 2012 Posted 5 April 2012 I should add that we have previously been told that Aiyawatt Raksriaksorn is the ultimate owner of K Power Sports Investment Limited. Not necessarily, he is the beneficial owner, not sole owner. http://www.lcfc.com/.../companydetails
unreachable Posted 5 April 2012 Author Posted 5 April 2012 Not necessarily, he is the beneficial owner, not sole owner. http://www.lcfc.com/.../companydetails Fascinating. It's been posted within the last few hours or two!
Libertine Dream Posted 5 April 2012 Posted 5 April 2012 The thing with the BVI, you don't have to have a local director/shareholder so that won't be the reason for him not being sole owner.
unreachable Posted 5 April 2012 Author Posted 5 April 2012 Not necessarily, he is the beneficial owner, not sole owner. http://www.lcfc.com/.../companydetails Can I ask how you found the lcfc page since I can't seem to access it from the Home Page of the Official Site?http://www.lcfc.com/...,,10274,00.html which is accessible from the Home Page has a different spelling for Supornthip Choungrangsee which seems to be the correct spelling from other web references. I think "beneficial owner" and "sole owner" mean the same thing in legal terms. It's a badly drafted web page since it speaks of "British Virgin Isles" when it should read "British Virgin Islands". Sloppy!
unreachable Posted 5 April 2012 Author Posted 5 April 2012 I've now found "Company Details" right down the bottom of the page in small print. Got there in the end.

unreachable Posted 5 April 2012 Author Posted 5 April 2012 Just reading back through this thread and have noticed that http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~2224998,00.html posted on 19th November 2010 refers to "K Power Sports Investment Ltd" whereas http://www.lcfc.com/page/companydetails post dated 4th April 2012 refers to "K Power Sports Limited" Maybe "K Power Sports Investment Ltd" changed its name to "K Power Sports Limited" or "K Power Sports Limited" is a new company.

Maybe both companies still exist & it's a complicated lending tree, or legalised robbery from the taxman

We know it was the Thai's who wanted the 'name' which is why Sousa was wined & dined by Manderic during the playoffs, which NP said was a contributory factor along with other things like the Thai's visiting whilst NP wasn't at the club/wasn't told they were visiting... etc & etc

Ive got no quarms with the ownership and cant understand why people are currently panicking when there is no need.
