dave the caveman Posted 3 April 2012 Posted 3 April 2012 Since LCFC is held out as the pinnacle of respectability it's just pathetic that the club sees itself as above having to deal with the Football League Regulations. If this is not complied with it begs the question as to what other regulations are not being complied with. Are these swipes at the club really necessary? I was under the impression that AFI own 100% of the club and if you want a name then it's Top and/or Vichai. I think the real question here is who else is in AFI, but I dont think this rule requires that all members of a private equity group are named. I would be suprised if it's just King Power because they don't seem to make enough money to bankroll this club the way they have done.
unreachable Posted 3 April 2012 Author Posted 3 April 2012 I'm always up for a good cycle, but I am not sure that will do it. Seems to me unreachable's curiosity knows .... bounds. He cannot actually be bothered to try anything. Might as well give up then. I have bothered to do something by posting the topic. It may bear fruit.

I suppose I hanker after the good old days when I sat at the EGM at Castle Donnington in the O'Neill days and we knew the names of the main shareholders. It put a face to the corporate side of the club in a transparent way. It didn't stop us of course descending into administration! You are right that the current Ownership and Directorship tests don't require the identity of every single person to be revealed but just those controlling at least 10%. The Directors named on the official site probably include those defined as "owners" but other clubs seem to refer to share capital specifically when they refer to Ownership.

James. Posted 3 April 2012 Posted 3 April 2012 I do not wish to be regarded as a trouble maker and have my season ticket withdrawn. Are you actually being serious here? Sweet Jesus. If you're that scared I will email them when I'm at work tomorrow.

James. Posted 3 April 2012 Posted 3 April 2012 Let the lazy git do it himself!!! It's not laziness it's a frankly bizarre irrational fear of having his season ticket revoked. I'm quite keen to know the answer so will put my own crippling paranoia aside and find out.

nigel Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 Stourbridge Fox is right... ASI is now wholly owned by Kingpower
lovelcfc Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 The owners won't leave why would they when they have put in so much money and changed the stadium name don't worry too much
unreachable Posted 4 April 2012 Author Posted 4 April 2012 Stourbridge Fox is right... ASI is now wholly owned by Kingpower Stourbridge Fox did not say that. What authority do you have for that statement?
OzFox Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 The Football League Regulation requires the publication of individuals not companies. Asia Football Investments Pty Limited are registered in Singapore and although information can be obtained I don't want to spend my money doing a company search in the expectation that nothing will be revealed. Many football clubs comply with Regulation 94. Since LCFC is held out as the pinnacle of respectability it's just pathetic that the club sees itself as above having to deal with the Football League Regulations. If this is not complied with it begs the question as to what other regulations are not being complied with. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't you say in a previous thread that the search fee is something like $5? Tell me how, and I'll pay for the search myself. Just as long as I'm not going to end up on some Thai deathlist or get dragged off to the Bangkok Hilton
Saxondale Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 http://www.lcfc.com/...2224998,00.html I know this is a bit out of date. The ultimate owner of Asia Football Investments Pte Ltd which is wholly owned by K Power Sports Investment Ltd is Mr Aiyawatt Raksriaksorn. Don't whether the other blokes, Cronus, still own shares? Didn't they get bought out? EDIT: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/13439049 Yes they did. So the owner is Raksriaksorn, end of.

stourbridgefox Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 BornBlue has found the information I have been looking for. We are owned by Aiyawatt Raksriaksorn, the only other investor was bought out. While searching I found something I don't understand though. What is this? http://www.silobreaker.com/FlashNetwork.aspx?DrillDownItems=11_5013563

The bbc article does not specifically mention "King Power Sports Investment Limited" but just "King Power".Vichai Raksriaksorn is often referred to as an owner not just Aiyawatt. The fact remains that Regulation 94 of the Football League states "That information shall as a minimum be published on the Club’s official website on a page accessible directly from the home page of that official club website" not somewhere hidden in archived Latest News items. It would not be too difficult for LCFC to clarify the position.

What is this? http://www.silobreak...tems=11_5013563 Interesting bit of search engine software which seems to link the proximity of names as the appear on the Internet. We are definitely a fly in King Power's web!

Libertine Dream Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 Half an hour and still downloading. Must be a lot of people on that list... Have you got it yet, I was going to do it but didn't have a payment method? Guessing it will say Top and KingPower sports or whatever its called.
OzFox Posted 5 April 2012 Posted 5 April 2012 Have you got it yet, I was going to do it but didn't have a payment method? Guessing it will say Top and KingPower sports or whatever its called. Yes I have. It said that the true owners of Leicester City are Thaksin, Jackie Chan and Kim Jong il (retired) Actually no I didn't. They seem to use some really dodgy third party payment system which repeatedly freezes or drops out. Which probably means Top and his old man are dining out tonight on the proceeds of my Amex card

(why arent we in the premier league?..OZfox out!) or your very own ladyboy.
