MC Prussian Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 please dear god somebody make me admin You'll have to wrestle Webbo first - he's on the to-fire list, so a demotion fight is just in order. Oh, and before I forget about it. Good night, good luck next season and
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 Kingy should probably leave for his own good. In a properly balanced passing team King could be an excellent cog but our team is so disjointed, inconsistent and out of tune as a unit. He needs to regain his fitness, his enthusiasm and his self-belief and he won't do that here where so many of the fans don't actually like the guy even when he's playing because he doesn't kick people and race around like a demented March hare. Exactly. King's not stopped doing what he does. He still makes the most intelligent runs, gets into spaces no other player we have does, works his socks off, rarely gives the ball away, is the best finisher at the club. It's just that the team around him isn't good enough. If you've got a free-flowing team that can pick out his runs then he'll bag the goals.

Could someone tell me what an intelligent run looks like so I can spot it when I see it. Does it involve a player wearing a mortar board and holding a diploma and running backwards ,while reciting Twelfth night in Arabic ?
seenitall Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 It's up there with 'work off the ball' as an excuse for being an ineffective lightweight
chris_lcfc_85 Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 Im finding some of the critiscm of King absolutely staggering..... There's no denying he's struggled more this year but he's a talented individual that has PROVED he can play at this level. The way we treat some of our players is crazy!!
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 Time to go back to the drawing board, and remove the dross,eh Pearson?
