Captain... Posted 29 April 2012 Posted 29 April 2012 It's not really a debate though is it, Pepsi or Coke: Opening statements: Debating for Coke: I like Coca-Cola, because it is brown, sugary and fizzy, it is cool and refreshing when I am hot and gives me a sugar fix when I am hungover, it tastes nicer than Pepsi. Debating for Pepsi: I like Coca-Cola, because it is brown, sugary and fizzy, it is cool and refreshing when I am hot and gives me a sugar fix when I am hungover, it tastes nicer than Coke. A response from Coke: No coke tastes nicer than Pepsi! Pepsi: No Pepsi tastes nicer than Coke, and we spend less on advertising and don't kill as many Colombian trade unionists nor do we pollute as many Indian rivers and destroy whole communities. (http://www.thedailyb...-t-have-to.html) Coke: Only because you don't sell as much. Proportionally you are just as evil as us, but we are bigger, therefore better. Pepsi: You make Fanta which is Nazi super juice. (http://en.wikipedia....i/Fanta#History) Coke: You ripped it off with a cheap alternative, you might as will be Mussolini juice. Hipstler: I love Juice. Both: Quiet you. Pepsi: We make cooler adverts with more footballers. Coke: What about Torres in your latest ad, you paid him millions and cut him out because he is shit, and he can't even say Pepsi. We fvcking invented Christmas. (http://www.soccerbib...n-pepsi-ad.aspx) (http://www.barcelona...es_gets_fed_up/) Pepsi:... but... but.... Coke: We win, fvck you Pepsi, stick that up your vaginas!!!!.

Rincewind Posted 30 April 2012 Posted 30 April 2012 Just bought Tescos own brand cola 61p. for a big bottle. It's not too bad. Why isn't supermarket own brand/other on the list of chices? A lot of products sold for big companies are processed at the same place as the cheaper supermarket brands so you are paying more for the same thing. Used to happen when I was in the hosiery. We used to have special labels, tape and bags for BHS etc and plain packaging for one offs. Some of the seconds sold to some buyers had very little wrong with them. Maybe a slight colour differance or a mispattern. They'll be the ones sold on the market 3 pr for a quid and BHS 2-3 quid a pair.
