leicester should play songs at the end of games like man city do

haha I spent my youth in the pens, I enjoyed it but essentially I couldnt careless if thay have marching bands, clowns, flower displayes etc. I go for the 90 mins and thats all I care about, I think those of you who are affected by the "match day experience" need to re evaluate why you fo to watch the game. I ve got an idea though, lets not try to attract youngsters to LCFC, so in 50 years time we have no one following the club.

You go on like it's right to focus on just the kids.

What on earth is the logic in trying to attract all these kids if you're just going to completely alienate them once they reach a certain age? You cannot build a club entirely around kids.

It's cringeworthy.

Yeah, because the generations of kids (myself and quite probably yourseld included) who preceded this one obviously needed tacky gimmicks to get them into following City? Or not.

Not at all, but we also didn't have sky and the media ramming the big 4 down our throats everyday. The exposure that the prem gets is increadible.. It still baffles me why a grown man would care what type of music they play, as I said im there for the 90mins they can do what they like for the rest of the time....

you muppet, alienate them ???? are you insane? How are you alienated, because they dont play "cool" music, how pathetic. In the eventuality of being alienated you are already hooked by that age. Seriously you cant be a fan of football if you have such strong view on what music they have, I am actually laughing in your face...

I don't think he did, the idea the club is alienating people because of the music they play is laughable, if they played the music I like it would probably alienate 99% of the fans, they play pop, because it is popular, people know it, most people like it, it does nothing for me but I don't go for the music. I am with Svensson on this, I couldn't give a shit about the music they play, sometimes it is better than others, and maybe consultation with fans or players would lead to better music. I ued to like rebuplica ready to go, but in reality that is no different to Black eyed peas, just personal preference.

I was a fan of that song too, I think we stole it from Leeds as they used to play it before the teams came on.

Did I once say it was down to the music we play on matchday?

The alienating comments come from the fact the club have no interest in people between the ages 16 to 35. Absolutely none at all. That's been clear as daylight for years. I was more emphasising what Voll Blau said.

If you genuinely believe otherwise then please explain why.

I don't need to explain why, you need to prove your point, how have they alienated 16 to 35 year olds? I fall in that bracket and don't feel alienated, a lot of things most people complain about are regulations brought in by the FA and things that affect everyone regardless of age. What you probably mean is they have alienated you, but not everyone wants what you want, and to provide everything exactly as you want it will probably alienate more people.

The club want as many people as possible to come to the club, that means making it accessible to all, regardless of age, gender, race. It is hardly family night football at the KP these days, but it is a better atmosphere for families now than it was 20 years ago.

Maybe using that whole age bracket was a generalisation, but I absolutely stand by the club prioritise all other ages over the one I said.

If you explain how, I might agree with you, you said it's not the music then what or how have they alienated you?

The way I see it is that you don't need gimmicks to attract fans of our age, I understand them wanting to attract younger fans as they will be fans for longer and you get them when they are young you have them for life. You are not suggesting we kill off filbert?

The reasons why you can't stand and restrictions on alcohol sale are not the club trying to attract younger fans.

If they get the players playing well on the pitch then they could have the telly tubbies at half time for all I care

If we are to be serious about attracting the kids what better goal celebration song than the Wombles Minuetto Allegrattao.

The minute it's in the back of the net we all sing,

Oh, Womble to your partners, young Wombles were told,

If you you Minuetto Allegretto, you will live to be old.

It's a sure fire winner and would add a touch of class to the proceedings.

I think just before KO we should play a Cheryl Cole and Tulisa double. Those cute little come lovers really know how to get a party started. Goal music something by Jessie J and full time something with Will.i.am. An eclectic medley surely to satisfy everyone's tastes.

About 3 years ago a mate from work lent me his Tigers Season Ticket, during the week before Patrick McGoohan and Dave Dee had sadly passed away, at the end of the game they played the theme tune from the Prisoner and Xanadu.

Quite touching I thought.

I noticed in that Swanson video that Dundee United have goal music which actually doesn't sound bad (for once), whole ground sings along.

5 mins in.
