By the way we called them "Balls" in my day! And we wore the full Black tie stuff etc, and girls in gowns .... quality ah the memories!

It's embarassing aswell. Why don't they call it 'End of Year Piss Up' or 'End of Year Celebration' Both sound alot less offensive on the ears.

Muz Posted 8 July 2005 Posted 8 July 2005 My school had a 'prom' Wednesday night it cost £20 to go and it was at this big flash hotel where alcohol was not allowed . Mostly the people that were going were the Couples and goody goodies. So me and my mates are going to the end of year piss up instead at the local club costs £5 and alcohol is avalible
