Fox 4 Life Posted 8 July 2005 Posted 8 July 2005 For a club in financial crisis they seem to be able to splash the cash a bit - bid £800k for Robbie Blake! Either they are extremely stupid and not caring about going back in to financial trouble or have sorted all debts etc out!
Hitesh Posted 8 July 2005 Posted 8 July 2005 I dont really care about Leeds. I was really happy when they got relegated coz i cant stand them. I hope they do have a financial crisis again. it will teach them a lesson for spending too much!
Scow Posted 8 July 2005 Posted 8 July 2005 I really don't know how they do it, unless Bates has done a remarkable job in restructuring the fianances and input his own funds in to team building. Over £1 Million for Hulse, and 800k for Blake? Blackwell - Transfer Whore.
rossporterlc Posted 8 July 2005 Posted 8 July 2005 i hate how teams like sunderland can go up and have a few million to spend on players, we could never have done that
Thracian Posted 8 July 2005 Posted 8 July 2005 i hate how teams like sunderland can go up and have a few million to spend on players, we could never have done that 134552 We don't need to. We've got "Harry" Levein.
Babylon Posted 8 July 2005 Posted 8 July 2005 i hate how teams like sunderland can go up and have a few million to spend on players, we could never have done that 134552 We could of if we hadn't fecked up the finances and gone into admin. Our wage bill this year will be something like 6 million, last time time in the prem it was 21million. That would give levein 15million to spend on transfers and wages. <_<
Fox 4 Life Posted 11 July 2005 Author Posted 11 July 2005 Now the fee for Blake is in the region of £1m! Madness, we could never eve dream of paying that and we have been more sensible then Leeds! I dont understand it myself!
Hitesh Posted 11 July 2005 Posted 11 July 2005 £1m! This is ridiculous! What is Ken Bates doing behind the scenes to get all that money?

Levein'll feel a lot more comfortable with the status quo than £15million quid.
