He's a good player, triffic lad Jeff, would've lavved him at Spurs, fantastic goal Jeff, could've had him for £2 million, ain't no wheeler dealer though, Spurs fans didn't ave it so good, next bloke in charge is triffic but won't do as well as me Jeff.

Just read Darren Ferguson is now linked to the job! I would think that would just be a too big gamble. If Martinez does go to Spurs which I doubt, I could see Darren Ferguson going to Wigan.

If I was a Football Manager looking for a positive career move I wouldn't go anywhere near Spurs.

Redknapp has had them overachieving for a while and as a result the owner, board and fans are expecting the same from anyone coming in.

Add that to a lot of Spurs big players want out due to lack of Champions League Football and that job looks a very tough one indeed.
