I think Martinez would struggle I can't see the big names likes of Gareth Bale, Scott Parker, Jermaine Defoe, Van Der Vaart, Gallas... wanting to play for him. Now I think Benitez will get the job, but I think he would do a much better job than Martinez, but I don't think Benitez will achieve for what Redknapp as done for that club. If Tottenham wish to progress into europe then I suggest they go for the big picture, Louis Van Gaal I think he can turn them even bigger than they are now, plus he's available at the moment. Also Moyes wouldn't be a bad shout for them.

He's gorn. Like his attitude though. Still willing to talk to the media from his car. Not sure what more they expected from him. it takes time to build a team. May have been over money. He could have asked for too much for transfers. He'll be in another job soon.

I bet no one expected that.

Reporter: "You're coming to the end of your career"

Redknapp: "Im fitter than you"

AVB to be the next Spurs boss.

Laughable.

The more I hear about this the more it seems Levy sacked redknapp because he couldn't manipulate him.

Yeah, ridiculous to think of appointing someone who has won domestic titles and European trophies.

Laughable?

Apart from 6 months at Chelsea where he had no respect from the players he's been absolutely perfect as a manager

Terry Connor is the bookies favourite to takeover!

Where you found that?

Moyes still at 6/1 but can't see him leaving.

He wasn't 'perfect'

Think this would be a good move for Tottenham though, would add some extra spice to the London Rivalries and AVB can attract some decent players as well as being a good spectacle

Something in me cant see this happening tho

How?

He's only had two proper jobs. At Académica he took over when they were bottom and led them to safety and took them to a cup final.

Then he had one season at Porto and won the League, Taca de Portugal and UEFA Cup.

What more could he do?

I was just pulling your leg on that, On Moyes he was on the BBC coverage today and was asked about the spurs post, basically he said he likes ambition and believes there's still ambition at Everton, so you could say he's more or less said I'm happy at Everton, but one interesting thing he said was on the funds at Everton, where he made it clear without funds the club will go no where. It's sounds like to me he'll stay at Everton as long as funds are available, otherwise he's spurs man.

One thing for certain Spurs have made no approach!

I've also read gossip that Levy was seen in Milan, some suggest he went there to speak to Capello. I could actually see Fabio going there, the only problem for Spurs is Capello only likes to sign for one year deals.

He wasn't going to say he wanted to leave live on TV when no approach had been made.

We'll see what happens if an approach comes in,.
