[Football for the fans]

......Hi Guys,

I don't know how exactly to put this where I can appeal to everyone. I plan to appeal to all clubs and all football fans but I am starting with my fellow LCFC fans. I am a Leicester City fan and have been since I was five but I was actually born in Portsmouth. I am not a Pompey fan but I am a football fan and I keep seeing what is going on down on the south coast and getting upset by it because the people who will suffer are the innocents who have nothing to do with the accounting and business side and that is the fans. I am appealing on here to all my fellow foxes to have a heart for all Pompey fans and consider how you would feel if this happened to your own team through something you have no control over. I want to try and contact as many clubs and appeal to all the fans that I can as if the circumstances were changed then much like the Portsmouth fans they would be absolutely hurt. Imagine if your own team went through and you had two professional players on your books due to the bad business of the administration side. It is not the fan's fault but they will suffer. Let all us fans show our unity by helping as much as we can on this issue and helping Portsmouth F.C. Not for the debts, but simply for the fans. I want to simply receive an email saying 'I support' from all supporters who believe and love their club and would be willing to donate as much or as little as they can to help the fellow supporters keep having a passion that we all love so much. My email is [email protected] and if I get enough responses then I will do all I can to help them as I like to think that there is a Portsmouth fan out there who would do it for us.

Lots of clubs go bust ever year, so what makes Pompey different from the others. Hinckley are on the verge of going bust but nobody's going to help them.

This is going to sound harsh but we need a couple of big clubs to go bust to make everyone realise this out of control spending can't be justified unless you can afford it.
