I'm hearing rumours the City Council want the building back so it can move in when New Walk Centre collapses.

Didn't know it was owned by the council. I'm sure though a new better venue could be found for the snooker.

Are they objecting to the proposal?

Shame the council don't demolish their ugly as **** building. Worst building in Leicester, even worse than the blue premier inn

dont know how that place kept going anyway. when we used to go and use the pool table in there to get away from downstairs there was only ever a couple of snooker tables going..

bit harsh on them though giving them a weeks notice. typical leicester council though

I still have not had my free games for when I joined when it was Willie Thornes. I used to go in whe City were on TV a few years back. Beer used to be reasonable and it was quiet and the Sunday lunch wasn't bad. Don't know anyone else that plays snooker and I'm not very good so don't go in now.
