FootballAidMan12 Posted 31 October 2012 Posted 31 October 2012 Leicester City FC have once again shown magnificent support and joined forces with Football Aid, allowing football fans the opportunity to grace the hallowed turf and play on their Field of Dreams at The King Power Stadium in 2013, while at the same time raising funds for charity. Our magical event allows Leicester supporters to ‘Live the Dream’ in an authentic match day experience. Players will gain exclusive access to the pitch and tunnel areas, pull on their own personalised shirt in the official changing rooms, walk down the tunnel to the sound of a cheering crowd and ultimately to step out on the hallowed turf and represent their club in a never to be forgotten 90 minutes of football. The matches have also been supported by a host of Foxes legends, with the likes of Muzzy Izzet, Steve Walsh, Matt Elliott, Mike Whitlow, Football Aid Ambassador Ali Mauchlenand many more all lending their valuable support in recent years, by playing alongside or managing the supporters in the hugely enjoyable matches at The King Power Stadium. Securing your position couldn’t be easier, just visit www.footballaid.com and choose your club, then you’ll have two ways to secure your Fixed Price position: Option 1: ‘Buy Now’ - Our quickest and most popular option, or Option 2: ‘Sponsored to Play’ - Pay a non-refundable £100 deposit to secure your position and then simply pay off the remaining balance anytime before 25th January 2013. So if you're keen to secure your place on your Field of Dreams this season, why not visit www.footballaid.com today to make sure you're part of the team! Alternatively if you’d like any additional information, you can call Football Aid on 0131 220 5999 or email [email protected]. They are a groundbreaking organisation which generates funds annually by hosting charity football matches at iconic stadiums all over the UK. The unique concept was the brainchild of businessman and Football Aid Chairman Craig Paterson and funds raised from the event will benefit the work of a charitable project nominated by the club, as well as projects nominated by Football Aid’s parent charity Field of Dreams.

Captain... Posted 1 November 2012 Posted 1 November 2012 iv played last two years was great experience to do im in the home teams photo What's the standard like, or is it a real mixed bag of players?
i luv u foxes Posted 1 November 2012 Posted 1 November 2012 This year there was about two extremely dodgy players but to be fair apart from that the standard has been good but playing alongside muzzy and elliott this year was something else muzzy ran the show was awesome and elliott nothing got past him even though he wore the shorts from his last game for leicester looked like pornstars shorts One of the best things from it aswel for me was steve walsh now follows me on twitter and muzzy izzet tweeted me the day after so that was cool
Fox in the North Posted 1 November 2012 Posted 1 November 2012 What date was it last time? Have they been similar over the years?
Fox in the North Posted 1 November 2012 Posted 1 November 2012 Ahh bugger it just done it can't wait!!
Captain... Posted 1 November 2012 Posted 1 November 2012 Ahh bugger it just done it can't wait!! Last time it was 17th of May, Match report here: http://www.footballaid.com/news-match-reports/match-reports/1811/2012-10-04/leicester-city-2012.html Thought the same as you, might as well get it now and if I can't go then I'm sure I will get the money back somehow. 45 minutes at RB for the home side should be good fun.
Fox in the North Posted 1 November 2012 Posted 1 November 2012 Ahh ive just bought one RB position i know im only 20 but i'd die if i was in midfield x)
FootballAidMan12 Posted 5 November 2012 Author Posted 5 November 2012 Congratulations on securing your position Hathern Fox! We look forward to seeing you at the The King Power in 2013
FootballAidMan12 Posted 14 November 2012 Author Posted 14 November 2012 Sales have been extremely fast this year however there are still some great positions available in the game at The King Power Stadium this season. You still have time to use the ‘Sponsor to Play’ option whereby after a £100 deposit, full payment is not due until 25th January 2013.

JD10 Posted 29 November 2012 Posted 29 November 2012 Ahh ive just bought one RB position i know im only 20 but i'd die if i was in midfield x) You won't regret it...I played for the first time in 2012 and what an awesome experience it was. By the time I heard about it there were only sub positiions left, but I've gone for the full 90 in 2013. In centre mid. And I'm 35 By the way, I also live in Hathern - are you in the home or away team? As someone said above, the standard was decent to be fair. You look at some of the other match reports and the youtube footage of the other games and there were scores like 9-3 and 8-0, which must be pretty poor to play in. The 2012 game at the KP finished 1-1 and it was a really competitive game, which I think helped. But I guess it's luck of the draw who's bought the positions. Best thing about the 2012 game was that it was under floodlights, which at least makes you feel like a pro!
Ziggy1990 Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 90 MINUTES AT CENTRE HALF FOR THE AWAY SIDE. THIS. WILL. BE. MENTAL. (Capital letters to reinforce the excitement)
Captain... Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 90 MINUTES AT CENTRE HALF FOR THE AWAY SIDE. THIS. WILL. BE. MENTAL. (Capital letters to reinforce the excitement) I'm on the home side boy and I'm gonna fvck you up

No I've seen it advertised here before and missed out on it so I was determined this time around. Ah cool I'm in the home team. Yeah I'm slightly worried as I play american football so my fitness is not geared for long distance Guess I'm just going to have to get running haha.
Fox in the North Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 I'm on the home side boy and I'm gonna fvck you up Sweet what position Shrapnel?
Ziggy1990 Posted 1 December 2012 Posted 1 December 2012 Sweet what position Shrapnel? If he's up top he'll be spending the 90 mins in my back pocket saying that ive only played centre half a couple times this season so i'm destined to have a shocker
