I'm not paying much attention to the testing times, you won't know who is fastest until Melbourne qualifying. Qualifying 1 should be more exciting now that hrt have gone, with 2 of the bigger drivers getting knocked out

Posted

Testing is basically pointless in working out who will be quickest although if a team has bits falling off their car in every session then it can impede their progress. Expecting a 3-horse race between Red Bull Ferrari and McLaren with possibly a challenge from Lotus.

Sutil's got the drive

It's not official yet, is it? I know a German newspaper has reported that Sutil's agent thinks he has the seat but Force India haven't said anything about it.

Not officially confirmed, but as good as, Bianchi to stay on as test driver.

There are reports in the Finnish media that Kovalainen is in talks with Marussia. There have been rumours that Razia's funding had fell through so there could be something in this.

Posted

The Razia rumour is true, that's why Max has been in the car so much, but kovalainen has denied today that he's replacing him .

And now Bianchi has got the seat!

Hamilton looks to have a lot of pace in that Mercedes. Certainly will be challenging

Just over a second quicker than his (illegal) pole time that he set last year. A very promising time for both driver and team.
