Amin Posted 3 March 2013 Posted 3 March 2013 What do those tall black 'sticks' on top of the cars measure? Wind speed.
isaidno Posted 3 March 2013 Posted 3 March 2013 Not sure how genuine the Mercedes pace is. You can get odds if 10/1 for Hamilton for the title
isaidno Posted 4 March 2013 Posted 4 March 2013 Mclaren to use Honda engines again http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/21655985
isaidno Posted 5 March 2013 Posted 5 March 2013 I think my overseas race this season is going to be the Italian GP at Monza.
isaidno Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 At this stage of the year I usually try to predict the top 3, but you can't tell from testing this year.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 7 March 2013 Author Posted 7 March 2013 Ill have a pop, but ready to set myself up for a massive fall! 1) Alonso 2) Vettel 3) Hamilton or Button it's a toughie!! I'll stick my neck out and settle on Hamilton, I just hope that the testing has been accurate and not a bit of a facade!
Collymore Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 I can't wait for the new season to start and we've not got long to wait with the Australian grand prix a week on Sunday. With the BBC showing more coverage including practice it gives the people without sky more of an opportunity to get involved over the whole weekend (I find watching the cars in practice curiously therapeutic) http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/21682493 It's going to be hard one to call this year. So what do people think? I'm going to go for Vettel to be champion - I just feel that Adrian Newey has the invaluable knowledge to get an advantage out of the strictist rules ever. My one to watch is Nico Rosberg. I think he'll finish above Hamilton and add lots more to his China win last season. I can see him finishing behind Verttel and Alonso.
Collymore Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 Shit! Not only have I posted this in the wrong forum, there's already a thread in general sport! Can some one merge my prediction please. Thanks
The Year Of The Fox Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 I suppose our songs are sung as fast as an F1 car so there is some kind of connection there
VLC86 Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 Take cover my friend, you have completed the ultimate sin.... Posting non LCFC related crap in the LCFC forum. Your banished to a year in Coventry
Vlad the Fox Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 Its all well and good but have Ferrari got a plan B?
Weller in Tights Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 I suppose our songs are sung as fast as an F1 car so there is some kind of connection there This !!!!! So true, what is the rush all the time?? Enjoy the song/chant
Jaspa Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 Posted in the wrong thread mate I do like Motor-Racing, watch the odd F1 race and the odd random bits on random channels but I do find the people who are enthralled by F1 slightly odd. I was in a decent hotel in Rhodes for a couple of weeks a couple of years ago, midday, blazing sun, booze en tap, the sea and some sights not far away, women, more booze and touristy crap if you like that sort of thing, but in the hotel there where at least 10+ people sat around in the air conditioned bar gawping at mosquitoes and the occassional wheel spin or wobble off track. Tbf tho the only reason I noticed was because I was on the € an hour PC to see if we'd signed Nicky Maynard yet and that Matt Mills was gonna be a legend. I'll still continue my peeps every now and again

Vlad the Fox Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 I was in Spa when England stuffed germany, an absolutely fantastic night rammed in a local pub, drunk and delirious atmosphere as beer flowed freely between strangers while the goals rained in, one of the best nights out I've had. Woke up the next morning trying to work out were i'd been and soon remembered as i stuck my head out the tent to be greeted with miserable looking germans.

dynamark Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 Teams(top teams) will be closer than ever in F1 this year as they have all been working to this set of regs for a while now and squeezing the utmost out of it. back to the footy spurs played well tonight snappy in midfield moved it forward quickly ,overlaps, cutbacks.got the ball back easily, confident in tight areas, and 3 goals reminded me of LCFC a few weeks ago.Scott Parker did a great job
Legend_in_blue Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 If Pearson reads this, he'd probably call you a clown...
