There's a lovely young girl in there who died in 1860, but she's really well preserved. Her lead coffin allowed her to partially dry out, so she's naturally mummified and retains a lot of suppleness. I'd take her home and marry her if I could. As the law stands though, it's just too dodgy to have her here.

For heterosexuals, it is "natural" to be straight and "unnatural" to be gay; for homosexuals, it is "natural" to be gay and "unnatural" to be straight....and, to anticipate another argument, if it is unnatural to have sex that doesn't lead to pregnancy, should contraception be banned and the infertile prohibited from having sex? My nephew is gay and knew he was from childhood - and it was obvious to most others...despite his parents both being straight. He certainly developed his own "opinions" - sexual orientation - despite it being different from his parents. Or should he have been removed from my brother's care and handed over to a gay couple? Funny enough, most gay people have straight parents....would you imagine! If you eliminated homophobic bigotry, it wouldn't matter if someone experimented with gay sex and then realised that they were straight (or vice-versa) because they'd know they'd not done anything wrong any more than a bloke who has sex with 1 woman, but then realises he prefers another one. Some would argue AIDS is God's way of saying there are certain things you really shouldn't be doing. Personally I think this is a trifle severe but can understand the viewpoint. Two of my cousins died of AIDS in the 1980s/90s. Both were straight (to my knowledge) but suffered from haemophilia, so presumably got HIV from blood transfusions. What was "God" punishing them for? For having haemophilia (which "God" presumably gave them in the first place)?For having a blood transfusion instead of bleeding to death, naturally, like they should have done? Also, what is "God" punishing the victims of cancer for - or the victims of car crashes or child murderers? Dead people can use their auras to either repel you or attract you like a magnet. On the topic of gay marriage, I think it's a step in the right direction and long overdue. I sincerely hope that the trend keeps going and more alternative sexualities become socially acceptable and legally recognised. Who's alternate account is this? Venereal diseases seem more prevalent amongst the gay population which could be construed as a warning against their activities. Encouraging something which carries such risks is clearly immoral hence my suggestion the age of consent be raised to 25 to protect youngsters. If fully developed adults decide to take such risks that is their choice. That's rubbish, I'm afraid. A permissive society quickly becomes a nightmare. People need rules, quite frankly. All the pushing back of boundaries is eroding the foundations that society was built on. Take the family unit for example. It's now considered yesterday's concept, and as a consequence youngsters are growing up feral, and our society is in very real danger of just collapsing. I don't have all the answers, but the first thing I'd do if I was in power would be to abolish the welfare state, and I'd give the police discretionary powers to use brutal violence where they see fit.
