Mods can this be a sticky? Not the Big Snooze – Friday 22nd March 2013 Not the Big Snooze, our annual sponsored sleep out, is back for 2013 at a brand new city centre location. You can enter as a team or as an individual and get sponsored to sleep outside for one night. Not the Big Snooze will mark the end of our Winter Appeal 2012-13 which aims to raise £10,000 so that we can provide emergency beds to people sleeping rough in Leicester. This event is a fantastic opportunity to experience what it is like to sleep outside with no shelter and raise awareness of homelessness. All of the money raised will go towards helping people in Leicester and Leicestershire who are experiencing homelessness. The location is the LCB Depot near the cultural quarter. Rincewind Posted 25 March 2013 Author Posted 25 March 2013 Yes, seriously It would have foolish for it to go ahead Friday. It would not have looked good for them if someone had died because of the weather. The main reason it was postponed was that there was a warning about traveling on the roads.
