Carl the Llama Posted 20 April 2013 Posted 20 April 2013 the league was as tightly packed as it is, if it ever has been? With 3 games left for most teams, there's a paltry 13 points separating the relegation zone from the playoffs and the biggest gap between any two teams in the intervening places is the 5 points that F****t have on Charlton. Is this the result of a general improvement of the football being played by the teams in our league, creating a more competitive atmosphere, or is it that the parachute payments scheme is favouring the newly relegated squads at the expense of the rest of the league, leading to a diminution and homogenisation of standards? Or is it something else altogether?
Fox92 Posted 20 April 2013 Posted 20 April 2013 It's wierd to look at it, with three games remaining, and thinking that even Charlton Athletic could still get relegated. I know they won't, but the league is tight.
Alexikokopops Posted 20 April 2013 Posted 20 April 2013 It's not quite as tight as this league... http://www.rsssf.com/miscellaneous/even.html
Kitchandro Posted 20 April 2013 Posted 20 April 2013 It's not quite as tight as this league... http://www.rsssf.com...neous/even.html Imagine if you were relegated that season. What a joke.
Guest Bilo Posted 20 April 2013 Posted 20 April 2013 Three points off second and bottom of the league.
