MC Prussian Posted 21 April 2013 Posted 21 April 2013 I'd also like to add that this season's Championship has graced us with a much more evened out playing field. Apart from Bristol City, who were the first ones to be relegated and who also put up quite a fight to stay in this division, it's as unpredictable and balanced out as it can get. I look at the table and I see such a vast majority of teams all easily capable of beating each other. I cannot recall another season where there have been so many equally good teams than this. We may have our deficits, but let's not forget that we're no the only ones out there struggling to remain or get into the playoffs. It's a tough race and in the end, it all boils down to luck, persistence and form.
Babylon Posted 21 April 2013 Posted 21 April 2013 I think Drinkwater's excellent form earlier in the season contributed to our defensive record. 16 goals in 13 games is 1.23 goals a game during an awful run of form. Basically good enough for 5th in the GPG conceded average list! So at our worst we are still well above average in this league!!
