Leicester_Numan Posted 23 April 2013 Posted 23 April 2013 an end to the Sky Premiership. I want an end to clubs wanting to get promoted for the money. I want clubs to fight for promotion for the pride and the kudos of being a top flight team. I want to see teams playing on Saturday at 3pm. I want to want my team to get promoted so that I can see highlights of the match later that evening (and it not being a given that that can happen for any professional football team.) I want players to be paid a reasonable wage that reflects the short tenure of their career and the sacrifices they make, but which doesn't drain the life from a club. I want teams that are successful because of the training skills of their coaching staff rather than the buying power of their chairman. I want an end to worrying about loans and for teams to live within their means. I want an end to football as business. I want players to come through from grass-roots academies who stay with their club when they become brilliant because they realise that it was their club that helped make them brilliant. I want managers who are given more than 2 seasons to build and shape teams. I want for it not to be absolutely vital that we're promoted this season. I want for promotion to be a nice reward at the end of the season and not the be all and end all of whether people lose their jobs. I want stability, I want jumpers for goal-posts, I want old-fashioned values. I want the moon on a stick. I want all of that as well, except the moon on a stick, I don't like green cheese
Leicester_Numan Posted 23 April 2013 Posted 23 April 2013 Not sure if I'd get 'bored' with it, but I understand where you're coming from... Only two teams compete for the title each year (sometimes three). It's run by money and is a business, yeah... Cloughie said it would ruin football, and in some ways he is right (again). What he achieved by winning promotion, then winning the top tier (PL), will never be done again. Which is a shame, I do wish it was more 'open'. People complain about the Championship, and although it doesn't have better quality than the Premier League, at least 10-15 teams are always in with a chance of winning the title each season. We should aim for what Swansea have done. Win promotion, still play attractive football, don't have to spend loads of money, stay up and then win a major trophy. How about doing what Leicester did and win 2?
ozleicester Posted 23 April 2013 Posted 23 April 2013 I want back door sex with Kirtsy Gallagher, I'd wager there's more chance of that also. I hear she has been spotted near the stadium with a big dildo in her hand ...so watch out she could be on the way round?
MooseBreath Posted 23 April 2013 Posted 23 April 2013 I want... I want... I want... I STILL PAY FOR SKY SPORTS AND WATCH GAMES ON SKY SPORTS! I want.... I want... I want... I STILL PAY THE RIDICULOUS TICKET PRICES! I want... I want... I want... I STILL SHELL OUT FIFY QUID ON A NEW SHIRT EVERY YEAR... I want... I want.. I want... I WANT EVERYTHING EXACTLY THE WAY I WANT IT BUT I DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO DO ANYTHING OR MISS OUT ON ANYTHING EITHER... I want... I want... I want... OH GOD, OTHER PEOPLE ARE JUST SO GREEDY, I'M MUCH BETTER THAN THEM.
