For me though, Bale deserves it, his goals have been nothing but quality and his influence on games is outrageous at times. Suarez only keeps getting mentioned because Liverpool fans feel a sense of injustice, change the fvcking record for once you plastic Scousers!

Why is he supposed to be a role model? What is this obsession with footballers being role models, they are sportsmen, it is just another stick to beat players with, nobody says musicians or film stars should be role models when they go off the rails, smash up a hotel room, or promote drink and drugs. Some can be role models, but the majority are just fvckwits who can kick a ball straight.
