How old was he at the timw? even if his twenties he should have been wary about the age difference. I remember once when I was about 30 ( was close to a girl of 21 and was barred from a pub because I became upset when someone behind the bar refused to serve her a drink thinking she was under 18. I was annoyed that they thought I was seeing someone half my age. This was in the 1970's.

Rincewind Posted 8 May 2014 Posted 8 May 2014 Now I thought abot it, it may have been mid eighties. I was in my flat and I left home about 81 so I would have been 30 in 81. That would put me 8/9 years older which was not too bad but 15 would not have seemed right. Now a woman 15 years younger would be 45 so not the same.
