Guest MattP Posted 2 May 2013 Posted 2 May 2013 Nothing to do with my politics (alright I was harsh on Celtic) Whatever skeletons are in the closet at Fox or other branches of Christianity I'll bet you a pound to a penny it is nowhere near what these organisations already caught out have done. Shut down the BBC.

Shut down the BBC. What, so Murdoch can have total control over televised media in this country as well as print media, leading to one political position being read about in most of the papers and stuck on most channels of the tellybox? No thanks. Chuck those involved out on their ear, change out pretty much the entire staff if necessary, keep the organisation.

No thanks. Sounds good to me. Love Rupert Murdoch, absolute legend. He had a vision, something so good he didn't have to force people to pay for it either.

Until he gets the monopoly. Then you are forced to pay for it. Behold the end result of unchecked capitalism - a monopoly where the consumer is shafted, or a cartel of companies working together in "competition" which is as good as one. And additionally I prefer to have more than one source for my news that isn't on the Internet (meaning TV and print media), because of my inherent lack of trust in those giving it to me - or rather those who have influence over those giving it to me (even from the Beeb). Thankfully even though Murdoch has a lot of the print media sewn up and dancing to his tune, on TV the status quo should remain the case for some time. Back on-topic, I'm certainly in favour of anyone involved in disgusting stuff like this being strung up by their testicles, but punish the individuals, not the organisations involved.

Maybe but a lot of decent people are shuddering at the thought of activities, facilities and cover up that have been provided and funded by this extorted and enforced BBC TV licence fee.

leicsmac Posted 2 May 2013 Posted 2 May 2013 Maybe but a lot of decent people are shuddering at the thought of activities, facilities and cover up that have been provided and funded by this extorted and enforced BBC TV licence fee. Nope, licence fee money was appropriated and misused by individuals in order to provide the activities, facilities and cover-up. So nail all of those involved. I thought the Right was all about individual responsibility? You do have a point about the licence fee being compulsory to watch any kind of TV being poor, though. If people just want to pay to watch their Murdoch-run stuff, then they should have the choice to do so. Personally I don't mind forking out 150-odd notes a year for the Beeb (seeing as the minimum Sky package costs nearly twice as much) but I do think people should have a choice. And I think it's good that you've got two fairly differing political viewpoints whichever you watch, and one acts as a bulwark against the other and keeps it from getting too strong.
Vacamion Posted 2 May 2013 Posted 2 May 2013 Shut down the BBC. For stuff that happened decades ago? I'm sure many an air stewardess got their arse fondled in the 60s & 70s. Should we close down BA, too?

21st Century Fox Posted 2 May 2013 Posted 2 May 2013 Oyston has a conviction for rape also, small world.
Tielemans63 Posted 2 May 2013 Posted 2 May 2013 You don't have to be a paedo to work in TV but it helps!
johnny the fox Posted 2 May 2013 Author Posted 2 May 2013 Now I'm not suggesting anything here... http://www.prolificn...tantial-losses/ The oystons have their fingers and thumbs in a lot of pies...etc..
BoneDog Posted 3 May 2013 Posted 3 May 2013 A few more ageing celebs will get done but all the higher ups who run this and the paedo rings will carry on as normal. Heard some shit on BBC which sounded to me like they're trying to gloss over how bad this really is. F*&k that, weirdos. Also heard someone saying that rock stars date underage girls and it's cool, or 'rock n roll'. It sounded to me like everyone in that world knows what's cracking but nobody says anything about it. Coward, jellyfish, greedy, scumbag c*&ts **** ****** ***. (had to black out those 3 words for legal reasons) The paedo world obviously involves people in high places else people wouldn't be scared to speak out. I hope that some brave bastard comes forward soon, they will be a hero if they do. A dead hero.
Leicfox Posted 3 May 2013 Posted 3 May 2013 Oyston has a conviction for rape also, small world. Birds of a feather flock together springs to mind.
