Alf Bentley Posted 16 May 2013 Posted 16 May 2013 I just checked and it is precisely 1 year today since we signed Matty James and Richie De Laet - and it was May 19th 2012 that we released the likes of Oakley, Howard, Tunchev & co. Assuming NP is staying, how soon can we expect some arrivals and departures this year? I imagine that new signings will take a bit longer than last year, due to the uncertainty as to which division we'd be in. However, if NP has provisional targets, maybe 1-2 weeks for a new arrival or two? I imagine that the annual "released" list will come earlier, but who will be on it? Does anyone have accurate info as to which players are out of contract this summer, apart from the loanees (already gone) and Conrad Logan? Almost as interesting will be to see which players with 1 year left on their contracts get offered an extension....again, does anyone have accurate info as to which player contracts expire in summer 2014?

Those with contracts expiring in 2014 are Danns, Dyer, Konchesky, Morgan, Nugent, Schmeichel, St. Ledger, Wellens and Whitbread.

We may be in a position where he can't recruit until some have gone.
