Mersons was class. Great read.

Gary Neville's is good. Purely football. Mentions his wife once. Even then it's just by her first name. Savages was good, and so is Collymores. Want to read Bellamys next.

Not football but I immensely enjoyed AP McCoy's book.

I was given a copy of Stuart Pearce's autobiography, so boring.

 

As was Michael Owen's.

As also said Brian Cough books are good. Read his auto biography a reporters book about him, and also The Damned United and We are the Damned United.

Last two are a bit fictional obviously but interesting

Whilst not a football book, Harold Larwood's biography by Duncan Hamilton is a fantastic read

for cricket lovers, English or Australian.
