Collymore Posted 4 August 2005 Posted 4 August 2005 Just read in the paper that he's training with sheff utd! Could warnock actually be interested in signing him or is it a cheap way of getting some info on us for Saturday
Darth Fox Posted 4 August 2005 Posted 4 August 2005 Doesn't exactly scare me if Gillespie does play. He makes DeVries look pacey.
Hitesh Posted 4 August 2005 Posted 4 August 2005 Warnock says that he would only be a backup player and he isnt sure whether KG would want to be prepared to do that.
supedaj Posted 4 August 2005 Posted 4 August 2005 I dont think he'll have many other offers personally... motto that springs to mind is "beggars cant be ..." ;O)
Scow Posted 4 August 2005 Posted 4 August 2005 I think the Sheffield United fan who has been posting on here stated that Gillespie would only be third choice for the right wing if he's snapped up.
Ricey Posted 4 August 2005 Posted 4 August 2005 I'm not sure if Neil Warnock is Gillespies kind of manger to be honest.
Boston Fan Posted 5 August 2005 Posted 5 August 2005 He has some skill, but can't keep it going at a constant level Getting on now aint he? Boston Fan
Darth Fox Posted 5 August 2005 Posted 5 August 2005 Why be polite. Just say it, Keith Gillespsie is fookin crap.

Boston Fan Posted 5 August 2005 Posted 5 August 2005 I can't remeber who he was playing against, but he was trying the same thing over and over again. The defenders knew exactly what he was gonna do. Just try something new! Although Boston will have him (Still be a back up, Brad Maylett!!!) Boston Fan

Not often did we see him go on the outside and get crosses in to the box.
Solihullfox Posted 5 August 2005 Posted 5 August 2005 Gillespie has been given an appearance based contract by Sheff U, so we could see him tomorrow. With a bit of luck he'll play and do what he did last year ie. behave like a pr*ck and get sent off !

And to compare that to what Newcastle and Man Utd were getting in those days I hope he does play tomorrow... I'm not too worried about him. Nalis will be dangerous IMO

lush Posted 5 August 2005 Posted 5 August 2005 kieth gillespie to face Leicester? 149631[/snapback] Not again, he did that last season Doesnt look like it anyway because warnock says "he`s not quite match fit but we haven`t got cover in that position".
