Louise Posted 4 August 2005 Posted 4 August 2005 Hmm. Mr Hammond is 24 but has only made 39 first team appearances (20 of those being as sub) and only scored 2 first team goals (not in England).
Ric Flair Posted 5 August 2005 Posted 5 August 2005 I would be lying if I said i've ever seen this lad much, I do remember seeing him a few seasons ago when Fulham started playing him abit and all he had was pace. If we sign him then i'll be interested to see what becomes of him, but at 24 you have to question whether he's got the minerals for this level and beyond. I still think Tudgay would be our best bet or Nathan Tyson from Wycombe.
Fox in a Box Posted 5 August 2005 Posted 5 August 2005 If this is true...I'm all shook up urh urhooooo yeah yeah I'm all shook up!
Tommy Posted 5 August 2005 Posted 5 August 2005 osNow Its Official Leicester City have today completed the signing of Fulham striker Elvis Hammond for a five-month loan period. The 24-year-old centre-forward, who has been with the Cottagers since the age of 16, becomes Craig Levein's eighth signing of the summer and is eligible for Saturday's Championship opener against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane if selected. Hammond has found first team appearances difficult to come by at Fulham, but has enjoyed loan spells with Bristol Rovers, Norwich City and most recently Dutch side RBC Roosendaal. The Ghana-born centre forward has been handed the number 18 shirt, and his loan spell will run until December 31 2005. Source:OS
