Kasper 4 - had next to nothjng to do for most of the game. Kicking was wayward and gave away a very needless penalty, don't know what he was doing for the first either.

De Laet 6 - Still not hitting the heights of last seeason.

Konch 8 - defended well, used his experience and took it upon himself to take the penalty which was very cool.

Morgan 5 - beat in the air a lot, him and Moore seemed to have swapped roles at the Minute.

Moore 6 - One shaky moment where he should've gone for the ball but didn't, otherwise strong and good in the air.

Knocky 6 - Wasteful at times. He originally lost the ball which lead to Blackpools first goal. Caused them a few problems but nothing to shout about.

Dyer 5 - gets into great positions and his pace is a great threat but he either turned back today when he should've crossed or made a poor pass.

Drinkwater 8 - I'd say he was our top man again today, continuously made himself available, seems determined and won the penalty.

King 6 - he was piss poor, but his absolute ping gets him out of jail today. A must see goal.

Nuge 5 - His usual hard worked but couldn't get anything right today.

Vardy 6 - Again worked hard but didn't get a great deal of service and ended up chasing lost causes mainly.

GTF 5 - quick feet and looks ok technically. But he isn't fit (as expected) although he will be handy player at times.

Schlupp 5 - His main contribution was nearly scoring a 40 yard own goal that went out for a corner. Total heart in mouth moment.

Officials - 5. Lino our side wasn't up with play a lot of the time, some dodgy decisions here and there but no game changing decisions.

Schmeichel 5-Kicking was woeful and a moment of madness for the peno, too hot-headed.

De Laet 6-Did nothing wrong, did nothing outstanding.

Morgan 6-fairly solid.

Moore 6-see Morgan.

Konchesky 8-had another great game today, won most tackles, played some good balls, playing with a point to prove and doing it well. Well-taken penalty.

Knockaert 6-Mistake led to first goal, made some good runs though but still needs to learn when to pass.

King 7-Had a quiet game but scored an absolute cracker, broke up play fairly well.

Drinkwater 8-MOTM today, played some great balls and made some fantastic tackles. Good run to earn the penalty.

Dyer 5-Ineffective

Vardy 6-Tried his hardest but didn't get the service and struggled against two physical centre-halfs.

Nugent 4/5-Needs to learn where the goal is, only reason he's in our team is the fact that he's scoring penalties.

GTF 6-Looks good on the ball but needs to lay off the pies.

Schlupp 5-Didnt touch the ball much but blimey that back-pass scared me.

Kasper 4 - Had absolutely nothing to do, and ultimately somehow cost us three points.. Anyway no point dwelling. He's saved us a lot more points than he's lost us.

 

De Laet 6 - Making much more of an effort in the air. Still as Bert said not what we saw last year.

Morgan 6 - Not bad, just not as dominant as he can be.

Moore 6.5 - Colossal second half, bit iffy first half.

Konch 7 - Best of the back four and good penalty.

 

Drinkwater 8 - MOTM by a stretch. Really making more of an effort to drive us forward and attack at pace, something he lacked last year. Great run to win the penalty.

King 7.5 - Not a bad performance, and what a goal!

Knockaert 6 - Made bits and bobs happen but gave the ball away for first goal. 

Dyer 5 - Did he play..

 

Nugent 5 - Love that guy, but just far far far from the player we know he is.

Vardy 7 - Worked hard, linked up play reasonably well as well, but again don't know how he missed the tap in from the cross/come shot from Nuge.

 

Subs:

 

GTF 6 - Showed how good his touch is, but didn't create or cause any great problems for Blackpool.

Schlupp 6 - Good ball in that was headed out for King's goal but did little else, apart from nearly scoring an OG better than all of Frank's!

James 6 - No time to do much.

Schmeichel 4 - possibly should have claimed the first but hard to see from my angle. Should never have come out to gather the long throw resulting in the needless penalty considered. Kicking was particularly wayward today and didn't have a lot else to do.

 

De Laet 6 - decent enough performance, one fantastic recovery tackle on Fuller in the second half.

Morgan 7 - solid enough, put in some excellent tackles at times

Moore 7 - equally as solid as Wes

Konchesky 8 - seems a different player since his little spell out of the team. Took his penalty very well.

 

Knockaert 6.5 - a mixed bag. One of our few creative outlets and he created a few chances through trickery and good wing play, one of which Nuge should have done much better with.

King 7 - got a little overran today but his goal was an absolute beaut.

Drinkwater 7.5 - good performance, particularly second half. More positive in his passing.

Dyer 5 - I'm a big fan of Dyer's but I've rarely seen him put in a great performance away from home.

 

Vardy 6 - worked hard as usual but little came off for him. Should have done better with a chance in the first half although it was a little bit behind him when he went to volley it.

Nugent 4.5 - disappointing again for me. Can't believe this is the same guy who has carried the team with his goals in the past. Doesn't even look like scoring these days.

 

GTF 6 - some nice touches, one of which led to the penalty.

Schlupp 5 - looked very nervous and tense. Thought he'd conceded an OG of Frank Sinclair proportions when he lobbed Schmeichel at the end!

James N/A - brought on to do a containing job but for too little time to assess really.

 

After starting the game quite well, the goal really set us back for the entire first half. Pleasing the way we responded in the second and we deserved at least a point which was probably the right result. Always gutting to lose it at the end but overall a decent away point against one of the in form sides in the division.

KASPER 5 little to do but low mark due to the stupid error

RDL 6 did ok, Dangerman Ince didn't phase him

Morgan 7 solid enough although Fuller caused him a few  problems

Moore 7 good game imo edged Wes as our best central defender today

Konch 8 My MOTM dealt well with Ince, always available for short passes from Kasper

and looked to play the ball to feet great pen, looks to have his confidence back

Knocky 6 showed glimpse of flair in patches, silly booking and looked our most creative player

Drinkwater 6 I have to disagree with previous posters I thought he was overran first half (although seemed outnumbered)

had a better second half and did drive forward when possible

King 6 great goal but rarely involved

Dyer 5 dire, had the pace to destroy them , showed in a couple of times but no end product

Nuge 5 out of sorts rightly subbed

Vardy6 energetic but struggled against two big physical centre backs

subs didn't do enough to warrant marking but obviously made an impact as we turned a deficit into a lead

Morgan 5 - thought fuller gave him a tough time yesterday

Moore 6 - not as assured as recently but Blackpool were very direct

Konch 7 - thought he played very well, solid defensively

Knocky 5 - not his best game. didn't use the ball very well

Drinkwater 7 - some poor passes, especially first half but improved a lot after the break

King 6 - cracking goal, absolute beauty. didn't play too well though

Dyer 5 - ineffective. seemed reluctant to run at their defence and put a ball in from the touchline

Vardy 6 - good work rate, should have scored early in 2nd half

Nugent 5 - nothing really came off for him yesterday

GTF 6 - think when match fit could be a good substitute option, held the ball up well

Schlupp 6 - better than Dyer, scared me with that backpass though

James 5 - not long enough to make a real impact

Schmeichel - 5 - Thought he'd found the right level of domination of his box until the end. Had nothing to do but when involved it was costly.

 

De Laet - 6 - Never really got going today. Struggled to get into the game.

Morgan - 7 - Standard strong Morgan, we only looked suspect from a ball into the box when he was pulled out of position

Moore - 6 - Struggled today with the experienced Fuller, improved as the game went on.

Koncheskey - 6.5 - Definetly seems better with some competition. Still tries a killer pass too often from fullback.

 

Knockaert - 6.5 - Tried to do something in the final third, but often tried too hard to do something special. Needs to find the right mixture as gave away ball for first goal.

King - 7 - Extra mark for the goal, but struggled in the midfield today with Blackpool playing the extra man.

Drinkwater - 6.5 - Struggled to gain control of the game. Some nice passes. Still clearly has an issue with the fans as well.

Dyer - 5 - Missing

 

Vardy - 6 - Full all of his hard work again, you can't keep missing big chances like he did at the start of the second half. Full of selfless running again.

Nugent - 5 - Seems to have lost some confidence in open play. Decision making is poor at the minute, and touch isn't quite there either.

Taylor- Fletcher - 5.5 - Him being on the pitch made Blackpool think differently, but didn't make an impact on the game too much. Some nice touches.
