I am Rod Hull Posted 7 October 2013 Posted 7 October 2013 Anyone watch Panorama last night?. I`v been following her story for a while now and her courage restores a little bit of faith I have in humanity. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b03d0tfq/Panorama_Malala_Shot_for_Going_to_School/ A very brave young girl and hats off to her father.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 8 October 2013 Posted 8 October 2013 I saw the first half. Very brave as you say. It basically reminded me of someone showing bravery in Nazi occupied Europe the Taliban seem that bad. That makes no sense whatsoever but its too early.
Rincewind Posted 8 October 2013 Posted 8 October 2013 Saw it and as others have said a brave girl. Very intelligent too How many teenagers her age want to go to school? She has a bright future. It needs a few more like her to stand up and be heard. I can understand in a way why the moderate Muslims in this country do not want to speak out against the extremists. The extremists will see it a greater sin for a Muslim to speak up against them than a Westerner. We don't know if moderates have had warnings about speaking out. They have families to think about. Malala was an exception
Renart Posted 8 October 2013 Posted 8 October 2013 I listened to her interview on Radio 4 yesterday morning (Today Programme) and she was amazing: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-24425752
Guest MattP Posted 8 October 2013 Posted 8 October 2013 Very brave young girl, would make a good Nobel prize winner.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 12 October 2013 Posted 12 October 2013 Brilliant and very brave girl. To stand up to the scum that shot her, and publicly condemn them for what they are. The true voice of democracy, God bless her.
