Sensible practice. We still have the moneybags tag so if clubs know we are interested they might up the price. Pearson will do it on the quiet, and probably cheap, so we aren't stretched.

If we didn't gift so many goals to the opponents we'd be OK, QPR aren't banging them in for fun either and I don't realistically see us bagging the 20+ striker who will really make a difference, just more of what we already have.
