l444ry Posted 18 December 2013 Posted 18 December 2013 Haha. I suspect many of the so-called 27,000 plastic fans were watching Leicester while you were still in your nappy steveherbe!

Langley Posted 18 December 2013 Posted 18 December 2013 I thought that the atmosphere was atrocious. I was at in A2 (beggars can't be choosers), bloke in front of me, fair play to him tried to get people going by banging on the advertising board to be told off by a steward within 2 minutes of the game. Hardly any noise from where I was, which is what makes it a game for me. People looking at me like I pissed on their first born if I tried to start a song, content to just sit there on their hands and only made noise when Dyer scored. And for Sam Bailey. The players in the first half didn't make anything to sing and dance about but I think that it's a two way thing. I think that we need them to lift us as much as they need to us. We need to be louder for them when they're under the kosh. Man City fans were class I have to say, singing for about 80 minutes til we scored which shut them up but it was non stop until that point. From where I was the Kop was very quiet, I only heard them once or twice and as you'd expect the family stand was very quiet too. The owners won't move the away fans but we should have made enough noise by ourselves regardless of where they're sat being the home team! I do have to wonder where the 10,000 fans who came out of the woodwork last night have been this season...
purpleronnie Posted 18 December 2013 Posted 18 December 2013 People still seem under the impression that theres a large percentage who want to create an atmosphere, its not true, a generation has been lost, they want to be entertained, that's it.
