Merging Cultures Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 I'm a Tory but I believe in the free market, i.e. full information is available to all, and protection for when full information isn't available. Asymmetry of information skews markets and causes problems for individuals and the economy. Very much enjoyed seeing the bailifs being handed some information
Guest kristianity77 Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 As good as this video is to see people sticking it to the man, its only really delaying the inevitable. They probably went away, sorted out all the paperwork legitimately and did the repossession anyway. End of the day, if people get behind with a loan or mortgage etc, then you've only really got yourself to blame. Having said that, fair play to the chap though for knowing where he stands.
Vardinhio Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 It's good to see the situation was dealt with properly by the Sgt. However, really it just goes to show how misinformed the Baliffs were about the powers granted to them under the warrant they had.
ithuriel Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Shows the Bailiffs to be nothing more than thugs, good job the police that arrived controlled them.
Zingari Posted 27 December 2013 Posted 27 December 2013 Thats a flippin great video thanks cupidstunt That bloke in the blue polo shirt is my new hero , i was hoping the bailifs were going to be arrested for the threats and trespass , I can't actually see why they weren't
AndWhat? Posted 27 December 2013 Posted 27 December 2013 Watched that a couple of weeks ago and must say I did enjoy it. Fair play to the coppers.
Zingari Posted 27 December 2013 Posted 27 December 2013 This vid similar in many ways , another example of people knowing the law and refusing to be bullied by authority
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 28 December 2013 Posted 28 December 2013 Bailiffs are renowned for illegal eviction, and that was the perfect example. Many unfortunate people have been conned, by not being given full information on the ins and outs of the matter. I have attended a couple of evictions, but in both those cases it was legal, and the people concerned were non rent payers, and not nice people. The above example shows the other side of the coin, and well done to the guys, and the police, for preventing this kind of abuse.
