blueharmie Posted 27 December 2013 Posted 27 December 2013 i need to park at an address of narboroough road. zone f. its says something like after sat 6;30pm to sunday no charge. if i park there in the week, what do i need to do. do i pay at the blue machine thing or do i need a visitors permit? i just want to park the god damn car. help leicester people.
Rincewind Posted 27 December 2013 Posted 27 December 2013 Depends if its a residents parking zone. I think you can get a visitors permit but the reident gets that. My street is residents. Tradesmen park all the time but they have permission.
Alexikokopops Posted 27 December 2013 Posted 27 December 2013 it is a residents parking zone. Usually you'd need a visitor permit - a person who lives in the parking zone can apply for one of them. Sometimes CPZs have an area that is pay and display which would be another alternative

english_gent Posted 27 December 2013 Posted 27 December 2013 I've just got my permit.......... Take some form of ID stating your address and your insurance document with the same address on it to the council office and they will give it to you there and then........ Theirs no way around it I'm afraid.
ADK Posted 27 December 2013 Posted 27 December 2013 You ought to be able to tell from the signs what you need to be able to park.
Strokes Posted 27 December 2013 Posted 27 December 2013 Just ignore them and any incoming fines, take a hacksaw with you for security.
