Iwan is a Welshman Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 QPR away Jamie Vardy Jeff Schlupp Overachieving (anyone who says anything different is a damn liar!) Oh, I'm late. Dammit.
Iwan is a Welshman Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 ...and wait, Nuge got the underperformer? You lot are infuriating at times.
FuriousFox46 Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 *What was your best game of the season so far? Away at Watford. 3-0 win. *Who has been your best player? Danny Drinkwater *Who has been your underperformer? Hard between Nugent and Morgan. Neither have hit the heights we know they can. *Who has been your best signing? Difficult, we've not really signed anyone that's made a telling addition to the squad, but if anyone Wasilewski. *Do you believe you are underperforming, overachieving or are performing how you expected at the start of the season? I thought we'd be in and around the playoffs so I'd say we're overachieving. The playing staff and management will beg to differ. I echo Bert's answers with the inclusion of Lloyd Dyer alongside Danny
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 7 January 2014 Posted 7 January 2014 Not a clue about any of them, to be honest.
MC Prussian Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 *What was your best game of the season so far? Personally, from a pure spectator's view, probably the spectacular 5-3 win against Bolton a few weeks back. Winning a game that we were trailing 2-1 and 3-2 at one point acts as an indicator of how far we've come in terms of team spirit.*Who has been your best player? Up to this point, I'd go for either Dyer or Knockaert. Knockaert took the criticism for his sometimes erratic and immature playing nature from last season to heart. He's much, much more consistent now and puts in an extra shift. He has turned into a much better team player I'd say. Dyer, on the other hand, has stepped up his game even another notch and is firing from all cylinders - at the tender age of 31!! His efforts, his dedication and his energetic performances are a mirror of the general willingness to succeed in this squad this season. *Who has been your underperformer? Can't think of anyone in particular. Some would be quick to slate Jeffrey Schlupp for not having made enough impact so far, but that's mainly down to the competition up front. If at all, I'd change our defense's mindset. For all the goals we've scored, we've seemed to become a bit too lenient in the back, conceding slightly too many goals for my liking.*Who has been your best signing? We haven't signed that many new players, and the ones that have come to Leicester have integrated themselves quite nicely so far. I think Gary Taylor-Fletcher has given us more and much-needed experience in midfield, his presence has a soothing influence - without him, I'm sure we would have thrown away a lot of points in the final stages of some games so far.*Do you believe you are underperforming, overachieving or are performing how you expected at the start of the season? Honestly, I would've never thought to be up there in 1st spot on a regular basis. I think most of us knew that we had a tidy squad, but needed the right reinforcements. It finally seems to come together. It's thoroughly exciting and the current league position also has a sort of relaxing effect and does give many fans the sentiment of vindication for all the troubles and heartache of the past ten years in this league (the stint in League One excluded).
daib0 Posted 8 January 2014 Author Posted 8 January 2014 cheers, and the best of luck for the second half of the season
