I'm wondering if you are able to answer a few questions about your season so far, we are doing a similar thing on many championship forums to get a general inter-forum idea of the nearly half-way mark: *What was your best game of the season so far? *Who has been your best player? *Who has been your underperformer? *Who has been your best signing? *Do you believe you are underperforming, overachieving or are performing how you expected at the start of the season? The questions are always the same for each club so it’s never personal! I'll get a general vibe from the members or I'll do an average. It'll just help with a write up we’re doing for the Tilehurst End site and the Royals Rendezvous forum - where we’ll mention of course which forums were asked for the various categories. Who has been your best player? - Lloyd Dyer *Who has been your underperformer? - Jeffrey Schlupp, expected him to kick on but just hasn't impressed when given the rare opportunities he's had *Who has been your best signing? - Gary Taylor Fletcher *Do you believe you are underperforming, overachieving or are performing how you expected at the start of the season? Performing as expected. - Overachieving considering we've slashed our wage bill considerably

We've had some really good results/performances this year, Today (5-3 vs Bolton) is up there, to come from behind twice shows great attitude, & makes me believe that this could be our year. Beating Watford 3-0, and QPR 1-0 both away from home are also up there. Oh and in the league cup, the 4-3 V fulham was a great game. *Who has been your best player? LLoyd Dyer for me - he's getting better with age. Danny Drinkwater & Jamie Vardy deserve mentions too. *Who has been your underperformer? It's really harsh, as he's a really good player, but despite being our top scorer, David Nugent has not hit the heights that he has done in the previous 2 seasons. *Who has been your best signing? Probably Wasyl. Him, GTF and Dean Hammond have all added much needed experience into the side. *Do you believe you are underperforming, overachieving or are performing how you expected at the start of the season? I always knew this team was capable of playing well, but probably not this well. We're looking really good at the minute.

Lloyd Dyer has been on fire, personification of fans favourite 3.) Despite his goals, Nugent has looked poor too often 4.) All 3 permanent signings have been solid, experienced squad signings, but GTF has played useful roles in holding onto results 5.) Overachieving for now, although we have the squad to achieve this much

Jamie Vardy, a much improved player from last season. Who has been your underperformer? Jeff Schlupp, doesn't look composed anymore. Who has been your best signing? Nobody has stood out for me, Wasilewski probably deserves a mention. Do you believe you are underperforming, overachieving or are performing how you expected at the start of the season? I think we are slightly overachieving, considering that we haven't substantially strengthened the squad but it is more balanced than it was last season, so maybe that is the contributing factor to our great start.

No one other than Danny Drinkwater can be considered for best player (apart from James, Dyer, Moore, Vardy.....)*Who has been your underperformer? Conrad Logan - not really noticed him this year so can't be playing well *Who has been your best signing? I would have to say GTF as he's composed on the ball whenever he comes on and makes us more controlled in the attacking third*Do you believe you are underperforming, overachieving or are performing how you expected at the start of the season? Massively overachieving! Most people said at the beginning of the year 'oh it was a one off last year we were lucky to get near the playoffs we've got no chance next year and so on.....we are performing much better than we should be and credit to the boys for that as their hard work is evidently paying off

Leicester_Numan Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Best game - Watford Best Player - Drinkwater shading it over Vardy who is definitely our most improved player Underperformer - I'd have to say Nugent Best signing - hard to say as Wasilewski is the only one that has had more than bit part performances so far but GTF looks good on the ball So far we're doing better than I thought we would, slightly better than I thought we were capable of but we're not overachieving as we're actually where we deserve to be

Wouldn't say anyone really who's in our current league team have under-performed , but if I had to say one, Nugent at times Who has been your best signing? Our signings haven't really had a run in the team, Wasilewski out of them all though, solid at CB Do you believe you are underperforming, overachieving or are performing how you expected at the start of the season? Well at the start of the season, considering the big spenders in QPR, Forest spending the cash, Watford and Reading having good teams on paper, us basically having the same team, i'm half saying overachieving. I expected top 6, but to be going into 2014 4 points clear at the top is outstanding

The win at Watford was a very thorough performance but enjoyed the cup atmosphere and claiming a scalp in the 4-3 against Fulham. Brilliant night! *Who has been your best player? Danny Drinkwater - doubted him last season but a completely changed opinion. Bosses the midfield, is more consistent, is more accurate with his passing, is better at retaining the ball. Looks the real deal and has added goals to his game. *Who has been your underperformer? Purely because we have seen what he can do on form david nugent. Doesn't look sharp or like his former self (even with that grin on his face all the time). Still have faith in him to come good but having a bad season this year. *Who has been your best signing? Marcin wasilewski- classy, composed hard tackling international. A model pro and big lump. A cracking championship signing. Kept his fitness well for 33 too.+ we wouldn't have the Belgian army without him. *Do you believe you are underperforming, overachieving or are performing how you expected at the start of the season? League position wise how I expected. Thought we'd be in the top 4/5 at the turn of the year. Maybe not so sure we'd pull away by 4 tbf but still there or thereabouts. Some of the performances have been slightly below par. I expected less white knuckle ride 2-1s at home to the likes of Barnsley but he'll I'm not complaining.

If we're talking in terms of a best spectacle then I'd say the 4-3 win against Fulham, but if it is best performance then I'd go with 0-3 against Watford due to the professional display the lads put in and bouncing back from the play-off nightmare of last season. *Who has been your best player? Tricky one this to choose between Vardy, Drinkwater or Dyer, but I'd probably have to say Dyer just about edges it thus far as he has been a one man demolition team down that left hand side this season, and no defence seem to really have an answer to him on his day (Which is becoming consistently regular). *Who has been your underperformer? I wouldn't say anyone has particularly underperformed so far but Nugent's finishing on the whole has left a lot to be desired so far this season. *Who has been your best signing? We haven't really signed anyone who has made a significant impact on the first team this season so I guess I'd just go with Wasilewski as he tends to play well when played at centre-back and is an experience player for when we need him. *Do you believe you are underperforming, overachieving or are performing how you expected at the start of the season? Doing better than I had envisaged before the season (which was to finish respectably in the play-offs,) but as others have said I wouldn't say we were overachieving as we are well worthy of our position in the league so far.

Schlupp - Looks a donkey whereever and whenever used, sad to say. *Who has been your best signing? Wasyl and Miguel tied, both played decent in defense when required, both play in different positions *Do you believe you are underperforming, overachieving or are performing how you expected at the start of the season?Overperforming on what I expected as I thought midtable, but we've shown we're much better than that many thanks for last one, but sorry can't use because it's already written and up now ... just noticed this haha

Andy King seems to have not improved this season. *Who has been your best signing? Marcin Wasilewski done a good job *Do you believe you are underperforming, overachieving or are performing how you expected at the start of the season? Over performing thought the play offs would be the best we could do with the few signings we made due to FFP The questions are always the same for each club so it’s never personal!
