WhitleyBay_Fox Posted 8 August 2005 Posted 8 August 2005 I've been logging on to this website for months but have not been posting so I thought I would say hello. I try and get down as often as I can to watch us play. I live just outside Newcastle and with petrol on top of the ticket price I can't afford to come down as often as I want. In May I came down to play at the Walkers as part of Football Aid. I would recommend this to anyone as it was an amazing experience. After watching the game on Saturday, and getting over the initial sickness feeling from the last 10 minutes, I'm really pleased that everyone can see that we were the better team. It is only the first game and we can only get better as we play more games together. C'MON CITY!!!!
C-man Posted 8 August 2005 Posted 8 August 2005 Good 1st post, and welcome to the forum. I agree with you point that we are a better team this season and I hope that we are correct
Hitesh Posted 8 August 2005 Posted 8 August 2005 Welcome! And i agree with you when you say we have a better team. Good things come to those who wait and we have only played 1 game! Got loads more to go.

Darth Fox Posted 8 August 2005 Posted 8 August 2005 Yeah Welcome to the Forum and fingers crossed we thrash Stoke tomorrow, I just hope we don't have another mid to lower table season like last.

My mum's side of the family is from Newcastle and I have lived up north since I was 3. Ever since I can remember I have supported City. Even though I have never lived in Leicester I can say I'm 100% a Leicester fan. Newcastle is a great place but whenever I'm in Leicester I feel like I'm at home. Thanks for all the welcome's everyone!
Darth Fox Posted 8 August 2005 Posted 8 August 2005 Good stuff, I was tempted to the Dark Side by my mates who are Leicester mad. Wasn't convinced at first as am a Scot but the trips around the bars on route to Filbert Street and the atmosphere at the old ground hooked me. Now the Reserves have announced all reserve matches to be played at Hinckley Utd's ground within walking distance from me so it get's even better.
