Captain... Posted 30 January 2014 Posted 30 January 2014 Maybe the Thais weren't keen on buying the club unless Mandaric brought in a bigger name/more media friendly manager? We'll never know the truth, so until then it's all just speculation. So 4 months before they told Mandy to invite Sousa to the play off semis? Then 2 months before they convinced Hull to make an approach for Pearson? If you are saying it is just speculation why are spreading unfounded rubbish about the Thais being responsible for NP leaving us? The facts are that Mandy was looking to sell the club, he invited Sousa his friend and out of work manager to the play off semis, he allowed Hull to speak to NP, NP went because he felt he wasn't wanted at the club, at the time there had been no mention of a Thai consortium looking to take over the club, or Mandy having found a buyer. Even when they did take over the club they left Mandy to do the every day running of the club. Mandy was happy for Pearson to leave, whether it was to make the club more sellable or becuase they didn't get on personally , Mandy wanted Sousa in and appointed him. The Thais came later. These are facts, you want to start fabricating some sinister Thai conspiracy to get rid of Pearson then I have to ask why?
