I Want Burnley To Keep Winning.

Better result for you than us but I am still reasonably happy with a point which keeps unbeaten run going and takes us to the 70-point mark.

We led three times but the defence was a bit dodgy and we probably did not deserve to win. Blues battled hard and showed plenty of spirit.

It's always annoying to concede a last-gasp equaliser but I was more pi**ed off with Wigan's "lucky" late winner after the Owls had missed their penalty.

Wigan are getting 3 points even when playing badly (ie Brighton, Derby) and that is a dangerous sign for their rivals.

To be honest, I am more worried about Wigan catching us rather than us catching you. Second is fine for me.

Ings injury could be a big blow - they haven't said how bad it is. Ankle injury - I don't know whether same one injured when he missed ONE match just before Christmas.

At least we have Barnes now and I am sure Dyche will be allowed to bring in a loanee if he asks for it as cover for Vokes and Barnes.

Hope we both go up.

Both our clubs, management, players and fans have gone about it all perfectly this season and deserve it

Want Derby to win play offs as theyve stuck to playing a decent way as well, plus will really piss off forest too

Them and qpr deserve to stay down

I want the less equiped sides to come up with us, Burnley as they have no money and Derby would be the best outcome imo as we should (with the right signings of course) be able to sustain the gap in class over them, which would mean we only need to overtake one team to stay in the league.  If f****t or QPR went up I imagine they would throw a lot of money about and could arguably rival us more.

Is this the same Forest and QPR who have splashed millions all season and failed to mount any kind of serious, sustained automatic promotion challenge? If we've learned anything over the past few seasons, its that money doesn't buy success in this league. Money doesn't even buy success in the PL - look at Cardiff, they've probably spent the most out of all the promoted clubs, but they're faring the worst out of all of them.

If Burnley and Derby go up, I would imagine they will build much along the same lines as us - keep the core of the squad together and use the PL money to make a few quality, well-thought-out signings throughout the team. TBH, I'd much be up against an 'Arry Redknapp QPR side full of mercenaries who barely know eachother's first names, or a King Billy Forest side with a new player every week to replace the latest crock on the physio's table.

EDIT: You're also assuming that two out of three of the promoted sides will automatically be relegated - I haven't got time to look through the relegated teams over the past few seasons because I'm at work, but a lot of the teams who have been promoted to the PL in recent years are still there and some are even thriving, just look at Newcastle, Southampton, West Ham, Hull, Swansea, Norwich - all have been promoted in recent years and have established themselves as PL clubs. Look at the table this season and two of the worst performing teams have been Fulham and Sunderland - clubs that have allowed complacency to creep in and have tried the old 'quick fix' managerial changes.
