Foxes Blue Blood Posted 9 March 2014 Posted 9 March 2014 Why all the love for Burnley? Fcuk them all ... We are the best team in the league and will prove to be worthy champions. Best thing to happen to this club was losing at Watford the way we did??? Pulled us all together!! COYB (and Blackburn today?) It's not love for Burnley but 2 teams have to be promoted with us. Please not Qpr, Derby or Florist!
Blanesta Posted 9 March 2014 Posted 9 March 2014 I want it to be irrelevant what everyone else does, I just want us to focus on ourselves, plain and simple.
James. Posted 9 March 2014 Posted 9 March 2014 I want us to win the league. To smash the shit out of it, to destroy it. Give me 39 more points and more of the exciting, dynamic and wonderful football we've produced so far. Let's batter Burnley at their own ground. Let's build momentum to keep us up next year. Let the other teams battle it our for the other lesser places, I don't care who finishes where, I don't care if Burnley win or lose every game, just so long as we are champions. This is our time.
Bert Posted 9 March 2014 Posted 9 March 2014 Why all the love for Burnley? Fcuk them all ... We are the best team in the league and will prove to be worthy champions. Best thing to happen to this club was losing at Watford the way we did??? Pulled us all together!! COYB (and Blackburn today?) Why not? Unlike other promotion rivals they've not acted up like they're the dogs bollocks, and the few fans that represent them on here talk sense and make a decent account of themselves. They've just got on with their way of playing quietly and have been very effecient about it all.
fuchsntf Posted 9 March 2014 Posted 9 March 2014 How on Earth does Burnley winning mean we get a larger gap to third!? And why in the blue hell would teams start to take their foot off the gas if they believe they only have a play-off place to play for!? I would much rather us continue our glorious way of playing football and not worry about what other teams are doing......so.....erm........come on Blackburn! Yup, agree with you on this. Some posters try to push their hopes and emotions on something where we have no control Sofar so good 1-0 to Blackburn.Interesting to see how Blackburn shape for when we play them. 33 mins gone.Burnley not looking their fluent selves, but can change as game progesses.
weller54 Posted 9 March 2014 Posted 9 March 2014 Blackburn 1 up at half time..if burnley lose this and we beat Barnsley Tuesday.. It's pretty much game, set.and match!!!
Corky Posted 9 March 2014 Posted 9 March 2014 Sorry Trav, nothing against Burnley really but I want us to be as far ahead as possible. Hope Blackburn keep it going second half and we stay 8 points clear.
65RosesFox Posted 9 March 2014 Posted 9 March 2014 I've got a lucky 15 bet I put on in January on Cardiff to get relegated, Burnley to be promoted, Wolves League One Champions and Man U to come top 4. So I could do with a Burnley win to keep 3/4 of my selections looking good. I'm not worried that they will catch us. And if they did we'd only have ourselves to blame after being top for so long with this gap!
Out Foxed Posted 9 March 2014 Posted 9 March 2014 Sorry Trav, nothing against Burnley really but I want us to be as far ahead as possible. Hope Blackburn keep it going second half and we stay 8 points clear. exactly. can't understand why anyone would want them to win. want all those ****ers in the mix beneath us to keep losing.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 9 March 2014 Posted 9 March 2014 The more we increase the gap between ourselves and the opposition the greater the chance of some silverware.
fuchsntf Posted 9 March 2014 Posted 9 March 2014 1-2 Burnley......they are good, very good, and Blackburn are playing well, if it stays like this. Only city and Burnley can throw it away themselves.
cc_star Posted 9 March 2014 Posted 9 March 2014 Anybody but QPR & Forest for me. Like us under Pearson, Burnley have gone about things the 'right' way, it would be good to see them up too. The gap to 3rd is all important, but it would be slightly anti-climatic to not be lifting the Championship trophy & come 2nd now.
StoneColdDyche Posted 9 March 2014 Posted 9 March 2014 I honestly don't think you guys have much to worry about! While I don't think we'll lose too many between now and the end of the season I can't see Leicester losing too many either. I think we'll draw against you lot at home. Fantastic result for us today - not just for promotion prospects but for local bragging rights too. It's been a fantastic season - I don't particularly care if we finish as champions or as runners-up, I never expected us to be anywhere near here or to have another shot at the Premier League. Exciting times but we won't be counting our chickens just yet
StoneColdDyche Posted 9 March 2014 Posted 9 March 2014 "you sir, are retarded" Not sure who you're referring to in the thread but calling anyone 'retarded' on an internet forum screams of keyboard warrior. Good on you.

Saxondale Posted 9 March 2014 Posted 9 March 2014 Don't care what Burnley as long as we're champions and Forest and QPR don't get promoted. I'm undecided about whether or not I want Derby to get promoted too. A large part of me thinks it would be good just to spite the pisspot Forest.

You deserve to go up in my opinion

HEGGSY Posted 9 March 2014 Posted 9 March 2014 you sir, are retardedNah. That's you.You have to praise Dyche. Fantastic job.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 9 March 2014 Posted 9 March 2014 Credit where credit is due. If you were a neutral you would have to say Burnley are the team of the season
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 9 March 2014 Posted 9 March 2014 Dyche talks like he's swallowed a batch and it got stuck in his throat. That, I believe, is the key to his success
