cecchini Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Been supporting Leicester since the 70s. I didn't see the game, as I was in a car going from Brussels to home in Luxembourg. I followed the game from the match thread and a little on five live. It reminds me of all the other times we seem to forget to turn up against the weaker sides and then destroy the stronger ones. It's happened so many times before, don't forget we lost to Doncaster earlier this season. Yeovil found a way to stifle us, to stop us from playing it seems. This happened last season as well, we were "found out" and then it seems that the rest of the league had the key to unlock us. Yesterday we got a goal at the death from sheer desire, better than last year, we did not give up. That's better. But we do need a plan b! Same old Leicester COYB!
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Brussels! Home in Luxemburg! Been supporting us from the 70's! Why were you not at the match? No excuses I hope your right, if we do destroy the stronger ones then it's 3 points for us on Saturday!
A fox for life Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 I was at the Doncaster Game! It all sounded very similar, EXCEPT one thing . . . we DID find a way through, and we didn't give up. We had 31 shots on goal, almost 70% possession and 10 corners, we deserved to win but that football for you ladies!

We huffed and puffed, came up with a lot of sloppy and unmotivated passes and were at times extremely wasteful in front of goal.

The not-turning-up has happened much less this season. When you think about how many lesser, weaker sides we've played this season, we've got the job done: Charlton at home (the loss away is in the minority) Blackpool at home Yeovil away Millwall home and away Barnsley home and away Birmingham home and away
cecchini Posted 26 March 2014 Author Posted 26 March 2014 I agree, we are better this season and In all seriousness I remain confident that we will go up. I think the team have delivered in the main, as has Pearson. The fact that Kasper was up there trying to score a goal (in my opinion it crossed the line) is very telling. Last season this wouldn't have happened. Totally convinced we will beat Burnley on Saturday. Show me the money
