posting a topic

hi im a city fan and cant understand why I cant post a topic here, is there any reason ,after searching for the start topic icon,

 

 it says in the top right hand corner of the screen that im not able too ?

I think you have to have been registered for a certain period or made enough posts in other topics before you can start your own.

You have to make a few posts first, not sure how many but it's to try and stop spammers joining and starting one spam topic.
