Foxes1 Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 Isn't it about time we stopped pussy-footing around and pick the best players we have available each game and not change the team or formation depending on who the opposition is. Going back a few years Brian Little used to do this and it cost him his job in the end. Yesterday we set out not to concede, alright we did OK first half but after conceding NP should have brought on players earlier than he did. We need to start taking the game to teams like we did earlier in the season ie Man Utd not trying to stifle the opposition and hope it works.
LCFC Rennie Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 Its been said already but we don't really know our strongest 11.
NotTheMarketLeader Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 And forget all this bollocks of matching up the opposition's formation being the way to go. It's a smokescreen for a negative approach. We need to be doing precisely the opposite to take games to teams in an offensive manner, in order to play to our own strengths, and have players in positions were the other f***ers are not! Nige is over complicating this - if we get beat playing our way so be it, but we are simply not going to win enough games being so conservative, as has been demonstrated in recent games.
Foxes1 Posted 2 November 2014 Author Posted 2 November 2014 Its been said already but we don't really know our strongest 11. NP should know our strongest XI he has been at the club long enough and most of the players have been here for 2 seasons now, if he doesn't then something is seriously wrong.
NeilLCFC Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 We started so well, I don't understand why things had to change?!?! If it ain't broke don't fix it - Nige seems to go by the opposite of this some times!
theessexfox Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 Think it's difficult to say what our best X1 is when everyone in the pre-match thread is picking different sides and formations. Personally I like the 4-4-1-1 which brought us success at the start of the season.
ADK Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 I feel we need to put out our best footballers and see how it goes. Schmeichel De Laet Morgan Wasil Konch Mahrez Cambiasso King Knockeart Powell Ulloa With Albrighton, James, Drinkwater, Vardy and Wood options.
