Stuliasz Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Cambiasso's Drought-Breaking Goal Earns Him a Second MotM lcfcratings.wordpress.com Saturday 29 November, 15:00Barclays Premier LeagueLoftus Road Stadium, London Queens Park Rangers 3Morgan 37′ (og), Fer 45′, Austin 73′ Leicester City 2Cambiasso 4′, Schlupp 67′ Esteban Cambiasso finally ended Leicester's 504-minute goal drought while also performing well enough to very narrowly edge Jeff Schlupp to the man of the match award against Queens Park Rangers, Cambiasso's second award of the season. The difference was so narrow that one vote could have swung it, but with the top two and Jamie Vardy being the only players to rate above average there was little to celebrate following the defeat at Loftus Road. Most of the performances were categorised in the below average/poor category, with David Nugent taking last place completing an unfortunate hat-trick of finishing bottom in the three games he played during November. Ritchie de Laet also continued his poor recent form, once again taking the lowest rating of the starting eleven. In a game with 51 shots recorded it can't be said that either side lacked positivity. However the tactics and team selection still couldn't help City earn a much needed three points resulting in Nigel Pearson receiving a poor rating, and a huge 20% drop to a season low of 72%. QPR were rated as slightly below average in their performance while referee Roger East and his colleagues were voted as one of the worst seen by the voting support this season. Thanks for still voting despite the awkwardness of the survey without player names. The summary for November will be posted later this week. Kitchandro Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Schlupp at number 2! Apart from his goal and a very basic pass in the lead up to the first goal he was hilariously bad.
AKCJ Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Interesting to see the Manager Confidence Percentage drop each week. I think that I might actually vote against him if we don't pick up at least point against Villa.
lgfualol Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 I wonder if we'll go above 6.01 sometime. Hey Stuliasz, what is the highest rating since Burnley?
Guest MattP Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Schulpp was a whisker off being MOTM? I honestly don't know what to say to that.
Stuliasz Posted 3 December 2014 Author Posted 3 December 2014 I wonder if we'll go above 6.01 sometime. Hey Stuliasz, what is the highest rating since Burnley? Ratings over 6 since Burnley: 7.20 : Riyad Mahrez @ Sunderland (H) 7.04 : Kasper Schmeichel @ Sunderland (H) 6.95 : Matty James @ Sunderland (H) 6.92 : Marcin Wasilewski @ Sunderland (H) 6.90 : Wes Morgan @ Sunderland (H) 6.38 : Esteban Cambiasso @ Sunderland (H) 6.13 : Jeff Schlupp @ Sunderland (H) 6.20 : Marcin Wasilewski @ WBA (H) 6.03 : Wes Morgan @ Newcastle (A) 6.01 : Esteban Cambiasso @ QPR (A) 6.01 : Jeff Schlupp @ QPR (A) To put that into context, that's 11 appearances out of 82 (13%) in those games compared to 56% in the eight games before and including Burnley.
sdb Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 We didn't play that badly to be honest. I think they're all a little bit harsh.
