Stuliasz Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Wasilewski Makes Most of Return to Team During November lcfcratings.wordpress.com Marcin Wasilewski returned to the starting line-up during November for all four games, putting in a level of consistency that was enough to earn him November's LCFC Ratings Player of the Month. The Polish tank was by no means outstanding, with a collection of ratings that were just enough to see him finish ahead of winger Riyad Mahrez. Jeff Schlupp put in solid performances throughout November to finish in third place. Each of these three earned a man of the match award at some point during November, with Esteban Cambiasso the only other player to be voted first in the defeat at Queens Park Rangers. It is no surprise that all of the other positive performances and awards came in the game at home to Sunderland where City picked up their only point of November in a 0-0 draw. Riyad Mahrez will keep his individual performance accolade after this was voted the best individual display City fans have seen during November. There was very little in the way of high-scoring ratings in games other than Sunderland, and so Kasper Schmeichel and Matty James rounded off the top three for their performances against the Black Cats. Sunderland also received the team performance award and Nigel Pearson's highest rating, although it will be a month the Leicester manager will want to forget as confidence dropped to just 72% following defeat at Queens Park Rangers. However the rise to 92% at home to Sunderland seems to suggest that there are a good proportion of fans changing their mind on the manager week-to-week, but it's clear that the majority are still behind Pearson. Southampton were by far and away the best opposition we faced this month, being voted as one of the highest-rated teams we have played this season. QPR and Sunderland were both deemed to be better than WBA despite the 1-0 defeat to the Baggies at the King Power Stadium. Likewise Southampton saw the only good refereeing performance (Michael Oliver) as City went down 2-0 at St. Mary's Stadium, with all other referees not particularly well received by the Foxes support. AKCJ Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Great work mate. Lets hope than we don't have another month like that one!
LAprice_ Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Is this the second month in a row in which Michael Oliver has appeared at the top? I'm sure I remember him being praised earlier on in the season...
