5waller5 Posted 21 December 2014 Posted 21 December 2014 What the worst run is in Premier League history? No win in 12 must be up there?? Also, what's the worst run that has then been turned around by the same manager??
StanSP Posted 21 December 2014 Posted 21 December 2014 What the worst run is in Premier League history? No win in 12 must be up there?? Also, what's the worst run that has then been turned around by the same manager?? We're doing our best to match Derby... Most consecutive games without a win (38 games): 32, Derby County (2007–08) (Derby were relegated at the end of the season and have not played in the Premier League since, so this record may be extended if they are ever promoted back to the top flight).
5waller5 Posted 21 December 2014 Author Posted 21 December 2014 Blimey, that is amazing!!! How long did they stick with their manager??
StanSP Posted 21 December 2014 Posted 21 December 2014 Can't remember mate. I just hope we beat their 11-point total in the same season

Lost their first four games of the season in the Championship, too, providing me with much needed ammunition to use against my Derby-supporting boss when he took the piss out of us being in League One.
5waller5 Posted 21 December 2014 Author Posted 21 December 2014 We must surely be on the verge of showing record loyalty to a manager.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 21 December 2014 Posted 21 December 2014 Blimey, that is amazing!!! How long did they stick with their manager?? After Paul Jewell took over from Billy Davies, it took him 27 league games to record a win.
5waller5 Posted 21 December 2014 Author Posted 21 December 2014 So Billy Davies had 11 winless games before being sacked?? We win the loyalty contest!!!
Fox92 Posted 21 December 2014 Posted 21 December 2014 So Billy Davies had 11 winless games before being sacked?? We win the loyalty contest!!! Which just shows that sacking the manager doesn't always work.
cjslcfc Posted 21 December 2014 Posted 21 December 2014 Which just shows that sacking the manager doesn't always work. Especially if you hire Paul Jewell straight after.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 21 December 2014 Posted 21 December 2014 So Billy Davies had 11 winless games before being sacked?? We win the loyalty contest!!! Eight. They beat Newcastle in September.
